Hello to all,
I have been browsing the replies in this thread, and there seems to be mixed messages about size, which has left me all confused. I would be cooking for two adults, one child, but am primarily buying it because i am rubbish at roasts, and am really hoping this would give me good roasts, but some people are saying the smallers ones aren't as well designed for roasting? Looking at getting M.R and am happy to get the best 'roasting' size, big or small!
Somebody, somewhere knows the answer!0 -
So I now need some recomendations, easy to use big enough Sc for
5 at least:mad:0 -
is it fixable? The reason i ask is because the knob thingie broke on mine and some fantastic person here mentioned that MR sell spare parts on their website so instead of buying a new sc for £30+ i paid £4.30 (free P&P) and got a new knob instead
I was well chuffed!

Oh pants, in that case i would go for one that you can buy the spare parts for easily just in case something like this happens again. If mine ever needs replacing i will def go for another Morphy Richards because of this option (they sell spare lids). Mine is this one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Morphy-Richards-48715-Cooker-Stainless/dp/B0000C6WH1/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1243971768&sr=8-4
It doesnt have a timer but its big enough so i can batch cook and was a good price.
Im sure there is a thread somewhere with regards to which SC to buy but im not very good at using the search facility on this site - sorry
