  • yesterday I got an Actifry for 105.00, the cheapest on the web is 119.99,
I also bought a pack of 4 scotch Brite lint rollers for about 5.80, these are about 3.50 EACH in tesco.
I also got a massive Schwartz Jar 260g of chilli flakes for 2.39, in sainsburys it is £4.59 for 100g of the Schwartz
and 88p for 33g of their own brand.
I also got a pack of 5 phillips halogen bulbs for 2.07, these are much dearer in tesco, even their value ones are 99p each.

I just bought a pack of 12 GU10 halogen bulbs there for £5.40 Looks like they have a promotion on bulbs at the mo.
I`m not familiar with the maker, Feit, though. Never mind if they turn out too bad they can go back.

  • Bought a box of these a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the tip

They are GREAT cards - would easily pay £2.50 - £3.50 per card in the regular card shops. Have sent out a few already. Great for female adult birthdays, kids birthdays, OH even found one suitable to send to his friend! Wedding, birth , bereavement and blank cards are also in the pack. They also have a nice selection of small gift cards which will be useful for cash pressies to our nieces/ nephews etc.

If posting you will need LARGE LETTER stamp as card is fatter then regular size due to its handmade nature.

These are great, they also make a great present, especially for older and perhaps more housebound relatives. I'd also suggest a couple of books of "large" stamps to go with them. I do this for my Dad - it's the only way he'll ever get round to sending anyone a card!

Who do you work for, what is your profession?

If you are an NHS worker, teacher, police, firefighter, chartered engineer or a number of other professions then you can get membership. Also possible if you work for some large companies e.g. BT.
  • my dad works for the england shooting sports academy and currently i work with them as well as in a cafe. They were going to look into getting membership for the academy and consequently those of us who do the shopping for them would have cards. We were just wondering if it was business/trade members only or if we would be able to get membership?

A money saving route is to get one business membership, then add extra cards on that account.
The extra cards are about half price. Trade members and extra card holders get to go in in the mornings and get free coffe and cake!!
