Got my magazine etc today - watch out when handing your 500pt coupon over that it does register on your card... Luckily I noticed that the points hadn't been added from my receipt before I left the store. The superviser added them by hand. She was fine about it, but said it was because I'd tried to use 2 offer coupons at once - I'd bought some Huggies wipes, and handed over the triple points coupon I'd received with the magazine (I hadn't received the triple points either). So she added the 500pts, and gave me back the Huggies coupon, to use next time.
So all's well; but I reckon the problem wasn't that I tried to use 2 coupons (I do that in Boots all the time and it's rarely a problem), I think it was because the coupons haven't been "activated" by the Boots tills yet.
I had this happen once before, with a coupon that came with my Advantage Card points statement a few weeks ago. It was extra points on a salad, I think. I tried it 2 days running, till wouldn't accept it. The assistant said she'd had the same problem with other people as well. So I left it a week, tried again, coupon was accepted.
Anyway, so watch out, I'd hate for anyone to miss out on the 500pts after we've waited so long for our coupons...

I had the same problem but my store didn't have in the free packs, they told me that all the vouchers would have to be scanned together! Went to a store further away and the points went on second time around!

i didn't get my triple points today on huggies nappies and also they were on offer on the shelf for 2 packs for £10 but i was charged full price. they refunded me the difference but said they couldn't do anything about the triple points as i didn't have a voucher. we're not supposed to keep the vouchers are we? it said to hand it in, and the card 'remembers' the offer for each time you buy huggies. they told me to phone the helpline, surely that will cost me more in phone bill than the extra points (an extra 80 on a £10 spend?) is worth!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Jellyhead...can definitely confirm that the card "remembers" the offer as I haven't yet handed in my huggies voucher.

Did you use a double points coupon on the shop? During a triple points in store, I asked SA to test if the till would also take my double points voucher. The tills accepted the coupon...but overrode the triple points offer to give me double points. I cancelled the sale and started again with that one...

ah, that'll be it, i did use a double points coupon. i wish i'd known, the huggies were all i was buying (except for formula and i don't think they give points on that) so i'd rather have had the triple points lol! ah well, the machine gave me a 50 points voucher for spending over £7.50 so i used that too too. the till assistant thought that maybe the 2 packs for £10 offer had ended and the shelf stickers hadn't been removed, but refunded the difference anyway. there weren't any dates on the shelf stickers.

i chatted to a stranger in boots (mums with newborns do that a lot!) who picked up her huggies changing bag last week, she opened in on the bench outside boots - no little teddy bear, no baby shampoo. instead she got a huge tub of boots baby powder and a full size carex squirty handwash. might be worth having a peek inside the boxes if you haven't picked yours up yet, they always seem to have different stuff in, i've seen 3 different ones so far.

Had a wee girl on 3 August...have only just had time to start logging in again - I thought I had no time with baby number one, but baby number two and a toddler is a real challenge. Congratulations jelly on your arrival.
