I'm on the Standard tariff, emailed them about changing to v5 but they said new customers only, is there a list of different tariffs anywhere?

I e-mailed Customer Services as suggested here and got a reply which stated that I could request a move to online v5 but this could only be done by telephone for a limited period. I rang this morning and was told that it wasn't possible; she went to check and said that an e-mail had gone round to staff yesterday and that I could in fact change. I've asked for confirmation in writing.

I was on online v1 so don't know if this is the situation for those on the standard tariff - but definitely worth a try!

Apart from cost who does the online versions 1 to 5 differ from standar rate? Also do they have paper bills?
  • EDF rang me today to ask why I was leaving (see post 3) when I explained the chap just said that he knew nothing about online tariffs so couldn't comment. Not once did he try to retain my custom he just sorta said 'oh ok then bye'.

If they will let you, worth ringing, as it's no longer available on the comparison sites.

However these tariffs were only available via comparison sites and not to those who phone in. It may be that only those who are currently EDF customers who phone in will get the tariff as now EDF know they have lost many customers over this they are desperate for at least some business.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
