Latest NatWest statement came today showing a £4.50 credit.

Phoned them up, they could only offer me 6.9% APR for life on any new balance transfers, I said no, and my account has now been terminated. ;D

Will get a £4.50 refund cheque and letter confirming this account is now terminated.

    So.....

    Saturday 5th June standings

American Express Blue = £1240 @ 4.9% APR fixed until cleared.

Have a nice weekend all ;D

    Shauneyd,

It may be because you are already at your limits with three other cards, so other companies may not want to give you another. it doesn't have to be because you have defaulted or been late that you are being refused. It may depend on your income, whether you are on the electoral role or own your own home. I would not apply for any more cards for the time being though as lots of searches in a small period of time can also count against you on your credit file.

To get a more swift reply in future, post a new topic in the credit cards section rather than replying to a post.
    I'm married now! Yippee!
