We take the children to Blackpool pleasure beach every year and also on 3 foreign holidays. Pleasure beach is done with deals, the others aren't. So, I don't get everything for free. To get a free day out at alton towers is a massive bonus. Also it costs us £25 in petrol to get there, so to pay then for another adult (Cos our DD is 13) and a child would be another 50 odd quid. We'd be paying nearly £80, which is a LOT of money! Plus it is £4 to park.

I also have a mortgage, bills, car to run, insurances to pay, food to buy clothes to buy etc etc, so I hardly get everything for free.

A free day out at alton is a great thing to get and I'm not ashamed at wanting to get us all in free.I shall send for 2 anyone and hope that maybe I can swap one with someone on here. Last yr the sun and the express did free days out for everyone so as the season goes on, fingers crossed for some more. Thanks to all the people on the newspaper thread who work so hard to bring us all these offers. I've bought 2 suns this morning anyway for the coupons, and used a 50p and 2 25p ones on the way home from football.

Here here I to bought 2 Suns and will just hope for another offer later on to use with these 1s.:T

I thought it was about SAVING as much as possible.

The "making as much brigade" try to buy PCs mis-priced at Dell (or similar offers/places) in 10's or 20's just to put them on eBay.
This stops others having almost any chance of getting a bargain and usually alerts the seller of the problem and it gets pulled very quickly.
This is frowned upon on MSE by almost all members.
Hope you are not saying you are one of these buck making bunch !

There are other ways of making money on the site which aren't quite as controversial- mystery shopping or selling stuff on ebay or making money off quidco. So making and saving money can go together and not be ripping anyone off.

no, I have never done that quoia. I have never sold one single thing on e bay. I did create an account last year to buy some Mika concert tickets for my DD's 13th (And THAT annoys me, people buying bulk tickets and genuine fans having to pay double) but I dont have a paypal account and I dont have a sellers account.

Of course I meant saving. But I meant saving as in if I get something for free rather than half price then I will!

We wouldnt go to alton towers unless we were getting in for free as we go to so many other places and as I said it costs a fair bit to get there. In fact petrol has gone up since last year so prob cost us £30 to get there now

Thanks Mccallister. yes I am a quidco member and I also do pinecone research surveys and we dine at pizza hut a few times a year courtesy of pigsback! (Thats the only time we ever go out for a meal so a big treat!! Usually on both the kids birthdays and then one other time

I am not 100% sure but I'd imagine not. I know whenever we've bought deals it says "Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. eg we usually have a break at haven blackpool, and they wont let us book a discounted break, it has to be full brochure price.
Plus pleasure beach, you can't give in a 2 for one voucher after opaying for one wristband with deals

You'd be best checking the tesco deals website, it should give clarification there
