PAF is Postal Address Finder - the system all companies use when you add a house number and postcode then press 'find address' - so most online forms nowadays!

your local delivery office can update the database

You need to call royal mail you can ring them on 08456 011 110 option 3 option 1 and ask them to activate the postcode.

Ive had to do this recently as my address did not up on the royal mail website. It took 48 hours for it to update and it now shows.

Why not send it recorded delivery? That way it is signed for and you know when they get it.

I didn't think of that!

I have just moved in and there are 4 of us, so I need to send 4!

Do you have any idea when you get on there?

I want to apply for a business bank account and I know they do a credit search

When I applied in the middle of June I was not added until the August so it can take 4-6 weeks
