The only problem there is it WASNT only 2 per card account.. You could buy as many as you wanted (It clearly states so on the MM6) but would be charged the full price so I doubt very much if this would hold up as people have done nothing wrong by purchasing more than 2. The mistake is then on MAKRO for not charging the correct price. If thier proceedure broke down then thats not my fault. I will be waiting to hear from them on this one and see how they are going to go about enforcing this when they clearly state you can buy more than 2.

"Customers who want to purchase more than 2 boxes of powder will be charged at the correct offer price of any two for £8.99 each."

Hope this is in the right place but thought it is worth mentioning that we were in Makro the other day and they had misprinted an offer in the brochure.

It should have read 2 boxes of washing powder for £8.99 each but the ad said 2 for £8.99

Makro have decided to honour the offer but limit it to one offer per customer.

Thats 2 boxes of wash powder that should have cost £14 each (£28) for £8.99!!!

The offer is valid till 11th March.

I dont have a Makro card any longer. I used to have one through work but no longer work. Can anyone tell me how to get one? Is it specific employee groups or what? Unfortunately I dont know anyone with their own business.

I was in Hull Makro in Saturday and they had huge posters up saying that thanks to the offer something daft like 90000 units had been sold and they were sold out across the UK.

They had put some other (nowhere near as good) offers on washing powder / fabric conditioners in recompense but the details didn't stick in my hungover brain I'm afraid

I think the Persil 70-wash 5L liquid for £6.69 was a good deal - picked up a few of those... powder seems to get stuck in the dispenser and seems unnecessarily messy to me even if it's a little cheaper.

That offer is now over though I think they had 7.5L 'barrels' (in want of a better word - they're boxes with a big pack of the stuff inside and a tap dispenser on the side - cool!) for very slightly more in terms of cost/wash.

People were going nuts over the powder in the Acton store though.

As i current employee at makro exeter by the end of today we have ran out of the 70 wash Fairy. We have about 4 pallets of everything else. We are not expecting anymore fairy 70 until next Thursday. I believe we also have an offer in MM07 with 120 wash for 9.99 this has not been confirmed!

Makro is making mass losses on every sale of soap powder however sales have increased by 23% in the past week.
