Will it be two boxes per makro account? Or if there are two card holders on the same account, will both card holders be able to get two each?

would assume its per customer/transaction at the till. would be a bit of hassle for them to do it per account or per card.

nothing stopping people form going out and then back in again but then again its usually the greedy ones that do that so the rest of us miss out

Update on the powder deal that Makro are doing from today.

I've been in this morning and got mine,and it is 1 deal per ACCOUNT,no matter how many cards are on that account,according to the lady on the desk who scans the cards in.(I have 2 cards,one for me,and one for the wife.)

The deal works out at £10.56 inc vat,for 2 of the large size boxes of powder,a saving of £19.59.

They do a larger size as well,which is not part of this deal,but they have conveniently put more of these larger ones out on display at Leeds,no doubt to fool some people into thinking they are also on offer.

When I went at 08.15,the car park was filling up fast,and when I left,there were a great deal more there,and people walking around with 2 boxes of powder,everywhere to be seen.

Friend went up to Makro in Aberdeen early this morning, said they had none left and it was carnage!

Went in to Glasgow this morning and managed to get 8 of them.. Was told that I could have as many as I wanted but couldnt go through the till one after another (we both have cards with the same business address) so had to let someone go between me and the wife or use a different checkout.. Also got the MIL 4 and SIL 4 no problems at all.. There was loads left and they were bringing out new pallets as I left at 10am.

The Southampton/Fareham branch has in over 700 boxes of washing powder in. It does say 1 per cardholder but if you were to go in on different days and purchase the washing power that would be fine and would go through the checkout.

Been into Makro at Barton, Manchester this morning for my 2 boxes of Daz. There was loads on sale and everyone had 2 boxes in their trolley!!!

Sorry if I'm on topic teehee

Bought two in Liverpool today, took them to the car ... Went back in, bought another two ... Went through at the offer price, no problems ... So went back in and got another two LOL. Six in all, should last me a couple of months hopefully... Though with two teenagers and a toddler as well as a mucky husband I do tend to use an awful lot of soap powder :rolleyes:

PS for anyone who doesn't like maths the total price with VAT is £10.56.
