OH went to Glasgow Makro this morning for two. Picked up two of the wrong size and a SA pointed this out to him as he waited in the queue. She offered to go and change them for him - when she came back and he rejoined the (by this time massive!) queue the girl on the checkout stated "sorry sir but I believe you've already had two - I saw you in this queue earlier!!!!" OH politely pointed out what had happened but I do think its a hit and a miss with who you get on the checkouts !!!

BTW Glasgow still have some left (Daz and Bold). Been told that even though the offer was on for a week it is effectively finished as there is some sort of kick up with thier suppliers so they cancelled Makros delivery...

Went back down today (17.15) to get 2 for 2 aunties as well as MIL old people she helps (a few halved in £5 each to get a large box each that should last them for months). grand total for today on my cards of 30 boxes and apart from being told that I couldnt put through 2 sets boxes straight after each other there was not an eyebrow raised and even got my last 8 from the same person on the checkout.

So thanks for all the OPs and I hope I thanked everyone. 13 people benefitted from this at my end.

Makro leeds had plenty in at around 1pm today, i asked if i could come back in and get 2 more, they said NO, however i did go back in get 2 more and they said nothing.... What a result off back tomorrow!!!!!

There were loads of boxes in Makro at Washington today and they were busy restocking the aisles when I was in at 3pm.

strange how they don't do their best to get loads of stock for the makro mail offers that haven't been a 'supposed' misprint!!!!!

Same happened to us at Leeds when asked about buying more. But wife still went in and bought 2 more.

thanks very much to all who have posted details of this offer :T my dh who's a delivery driver in the south west bought 2 while he was passing Exeter Makro yesterday. he said that they had loads left despite almost everyone there having washing powder in their trolleys he was chatting to a member of staff who said that they had 60 pallets of washing powder delivered this week & another 60 pallets will be coming in next week so even if they run out later this week anyone in the area should be able to pick some up next week
