I have found CCCS consultants can give conflicting info, which can be very unhelpful. I'll dig out my I & E. Yes I'll take the whole amount to court as booked a day off work so really want to get it done then, and I've been procrastinating about BR long enough!!
Thanks again..0 -
In that case, take the set of CCCS paperwork that shows you with the least surplus.I have found CCCS consultants can give conflicting info, which can be very unhelpful. I'll dig out my I & E.

Thanks WDIAG. Its not that I have two I & E's from CCCS, its just that I had to ring back after my initial consultation and the next person I spoke to said the opposite to the last person, really stressed me out!!
I've filled in most of my statement of affairs online, but my surplus seems to be less than the surplus left after CCCS did my I & E. There doesn't seem to be as many categories for expenditure if that makes sense, unless I lump them all together unless other expenditure!! Do you know if they will look at both print outs or just the one on my statement of affairs? I hope this makes sense :undecided
Anymore advice much appreciated as always :A xx0 -
That's good.

I suggest you have a look at this post, to make sure you've included everything you should have (I think there was a more recent version, but I can't find it), & you could look at the trigger figures here to get an idea of the figures the OR's work to.
They'll look more at the SOA you submit to them, but the CCCS paperwork will show that you're taking the matter seriously. Please post your I&E here, so that we can give it the once-over for you.

Great, thanks for that, the trigger figures are very useful. It seems like CCCS' form is a bit more elaborate than the statement of affairs, i.e. more colums to add more expenditure for different things. On their I & E I have around £195 surplus, but the one I did on the statement of affairs shows a surplus of around £400, which isn't right as I haven't got that much surplus, I just couldn't add all my expenditure to it because of the lack of expenditure categories. I will post my I & E tonight when I get home from work..
Thanks xx0 -
The "Outgoings" section of the forms isn't very comprehensive.
But there is quite a bit of room in box to provide details of "other essential payments" at the bottom of the form. Anything extra you can itemise in there.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

How are you getting on with your I&E Em? Hope you are not getting to stressed with it.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Stressed ain't the word TF!! Sorry I got a bit distracted last night, trying to balance out my I & E on my SofA so it looks the same as my one from CCCS..
I will add more to the box at the bottom in additional expenditure, trouble with it is that it doesn't seem to add those figures to my total figure, but I guess they will see that..
Keep reading that some people feel really relieved after the BR, but think it will take me a while to feel that, as still will have the worry of opening a bank account in time for payroll and wondering if the OR will tell my LL even though I've never ever missed rent payments
Incidentally does anyone know much about the tax aspect. I was told I would not pay tax for a while, and that my tax code will go to zero, but that obviously the extra will go to my creditors. How does the OR take this money?
Thanks Guys.. :A xx0 -

It will help if you have several people working on it for you.

It affects people differently some feel exactly like you do, some feel a lightness of being. Don't worry about the account. Get on the phone to Co-op and open a cashminder now, let them know you are going BR. Write a letter to the OR asking him not to tell. Show him proof of being up to date and your tenancy agreement. Empty Wallet has just had his OR interview and the OR is not contacting the LL.
Incidentally does anyone know much about the tax aspect. I was told I would not pay tax for a while, and that my tax code will go to zero, but that obviously the extra will go to my creditors. How does the OR take this money? If you go BR you are issued with a Nil Tax Code. The tax you would of paid to the tax man gets left in your wages, you take this and give it to the OR/trustee. This lasts up to the end of the financial year in which you are declared BR ie:April 5th. If you go BR between now and then you more than likely won't get one because it isn't worth it for them to administer it. So you will more than likely just go on paying tax as normal.
Thanks Guys.. :A xx
Hope some of that helps.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
