These fruits are grown on occupied areas of Palestine, and because the land is so cheap for the Israeli 'settlers', they will fight tooth and nail to ensure that the Israeli government has all the support it needs to delay any withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank.
Hi yes well stated and written! My post was quite vague but im still trying to find out the full details...needless to say it is a form of terrorism ...its bad enough what the west do with the coffee beans and how 1kg of coffee beans is paid with i believe around 10p to the africans but how an ounce of that is sold in a star bucks coffee for nearly £2!!!!!!!
But the point about Palestinians is even worse since they were kicked out of their homes by the Israelis some 60 years ago and have taken over their land and their blood is used to line the pocket of western companies which is why Israel is still sitting comfortably where it is!0 -
Talk about going off topic!!!
The guy said he bought a game off ebay with no instructions and traded it in!!!
I've bought games off ebay with no instructions, i've traded games in to game with no instructions too. Neither means i've bought or sold a copy or funded middle east terrorism!!!!
Buying dirt cheap games on ebay and using them as trade ins at game is a neat way to save money - particularly on hardware or a console which tend not to be discounted much elsewhere.0 -
mew wrote:Of cause not all games from a abroad are copied BUT when you buy a new release game very cheaply with no instructions and a flat packed box from a foreign seller on ebay, there's an extremely high possibility it will be fake!
The instructions would add more to the postage and not necessary. As for it being newly released game, it might be for England but it's been out ages elsewhere like the film has been shown months ago before being released over here.No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -

Further to mew's comments, id says its a 100% certainty. No seller would buy a new game in bulk (for £10 each for example), unseal it, throw out the instructions and leaflets, squash the box, and then sell it for less than he bought it for!
But if you didnt know, and game didnt spot it, then good for you.0 -

Your first post said "... I told them it was an unwanted present from Dubai....."
That patently wasn't true....since you said you actually bought it off eBay...so let's cut the holier than thou bit. You tried to be smart..and didn't like the reaction you got from some other posters. Truth is you lied to the people at Game....... This site is broadly split into two camps...those looking for a bargain ..and those looking to make a quick buck .........personally I'd hate to think I was that stuck for a way to make £5.01....
Me...I just hope the poor kid who bought it in good faith doesn't get let down by it................

Surely it's easy enough to spot a fake? On a DVD, just check the colour of the writing surface - a purple dye will generally (always?) be a copied disk. If it has DVD-R printed on the inner plastic rim, this is also a giveaway. The only exception would be the "silvers" from Asia, which are factory produced, generally to a very high standard.0

The Film was only released in the USA 2 weeks before the UK and the Game was released in the USA on the 24th May.0 -

The film was released in the states on 27th May 2005 and it was released in the UK on 15th July 2005.

Yes it is a good game but he didn't need 2, so we traded it for a Garfield game which my son wanted.
It was an unwanted present. Read what he wrote he purchased it for His Son and somebody else brought it also. Therefore in my eyes it was a unwanted present. He explained this to Game, if they had any doubts about the game, they have the right to refuse to accept any game.0 -

If you read my earlier post you would've known why I said that
"I bought it for my son's birthday present but someone else bought him one as well from ebay but it was from Hong Kong. That's why I took mine to Game and said it was an unwanted present from Dubai, so they know where it came from. There's nothing more to it, everyone is making such a big deal of this. So it was an unwanted gift which was from Dubai. Translate it anyway you want, I was honest with Game as I didn't have to say where it came from and if you don't like it that's your problem. No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
So what if parley did rip-off Game for a measley fiver these gangsters & the rest of their retail buddies have been ripping off kids & practicly stealing their pocket money for years by selling games at extortinate prices..
~~~~~ GOOD ON YA PARLEY ~~~~~What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0
