Buy from ebay and exchange in Games

I bought Madagascar GBA game from ebay costing £8.99 including delivery, it came in a flat box and the game, no instruction book. I took it to games and explained it was an unwanted present sent from Dubai and they said they'll give me £14 towards trade-in. Wow that's a saving of £5.01.

I suprised that Game took the game as it's obviously a pirate copy.

Sorry, I can't agree with this. There's saving money, and there's stealing. If you agree with the OP's philosophy, you might as well shoplift, take the stolen item back to the store and ask for a refund.

Yeh right!!!!!!!....And the next time there's a miss-price on a website you'll ignore it & let everyone else grab a bargain................
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!

Mew and Ian D I am disgusted at how quickly you accuse me of stealing and buying pirated game. I bought the game in good faith and I explained to Game where it came from and he said it was fine. I gave them the game and the box and no problem. So think before you accuse people of doing wrong.

Note for those people who don't know - game do trade in's as part of their normal business. It's not like the OP was getting a refund or anything.....

I can't believe you were naive enough to expect you were buying an Original game off ebay (considering the price, orgin of the item and lack of instructions)?

As far as I'm concerned I've done nothing wrong, I bought it in good faith and yes you do get some very good bargains at ebay and just because you do it doesn't mean they are all fakes. I did tell them where it came from and they were fine about it. So I don't know why you have a problem with this Mew and Iian D.

You've made it clear that you bought the game in good faith - was it a copy though?

I don't know what a copy GBA game looks like.

Surely Game would know if it were a copy, as they wouldn't accept it.
