Bras

I know what you mean about having difficulty finding 'nice' bras to fit. I recently bought one from M&S (fitted in store) it was so uncomfortable I had to take it off in the car on my way home from a night out after only 3 hours of wear!
Good Houskeeping had an article a few months ago about the various sizes the journalist was supposed to be so you are by no means the only one having problems.
M&S Aberdeen have great staff and spend a lot of time trying to get the right bra for you so if you are ever up there give them a go.0 -
I wore a 34B for many years but after I stopped breastfeeding my son I decided to go and get myself measured in a proper lingerie shop. The upshot was that I'm actually a 30DD and I bought a couple of Panache Superbras which were £20+ each.
However, they fit me perfectly and now I know my correct size I have bought a load on Ebay as you can pick up some brilliant bargains, especially in "odd" sizes. I bought one a couple of weeks ago for less than £3 including p&p.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -
I love La Senza, www.lasenza.co.uk They have a good range of colours and sizes of bras and matching underwear. You can order online but you have to pay for returns BUT if you return them to your local La Senza shop, returns are obviously free!! They normally deliver next day and delivery is free if order is over £35. I think they are fantastic, so does my nieces, one who is just starting to wear bras, my Mum and sisters.
Our nearest La Senza used to be in Glasgow and we would all go over shopping for the weekend and we all came out with bags full and no complaints. Hubbys were delighted too!!0 -
Why don't they ever show pictures of the back of bras? You find a lovely bra online or in a catalogue and when it arrivies, you open the parcel all excited and out it comes with a HUGE
hideous wide strap with 30 hooks!
Just a gripe for us bustier ladies
:cool:Am I talking to myself or wot?! :eek:Please come and play with me, I'm bored xx :T

I too am abit odd shaped
Small back and big boobies so tend to have to pay alot for my bra's.
I got sorted at bravissimmo and was wearing a bra two sizes too big around back and obviously two sizes to small in boobs.
They showed me how a bra should fit and what to look for, what style to look for and what style would suit my age, shape! Too expensive to buy from there though!
I always now buy online, e-bay have lots and at good prices, all new obviously. Also purchased from figleaves sale, contessa sale and also TKmax always have loads of big cup bra sizes on their sale rale.
Hope this helps

Well, I've just been an ordered a top from Bravissimo now - so thanks. A strappy top that won't show big fat straps cos it's got a bra built in, hope I've ordered the right size.....Am I talking to myself or wot?!

I have one of these, it is really comfortable (once you get it on, it is a bit of a faff getting into it  ) and really flattering, too! Wish I could afford one in every colour.[0 -
A lot of people I've spoken to and on this thread have been measured wrongly. BUT, many of them seem to have been an unusual size but measured as a size that the shop stock...
Hmm  I wonder if there's a wee bit of an incentive for stores to provide an ill fitting item that they stock rather than tell someone they don't stock their size...
Just a thought.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
