I've not posted on here before (as you can see), but, having just received my wii fit from amazon.de firstly wanted to thank all of you for the advice. This was the first time I'd ordered a game from outside the UK and I, like others posting here, was a bit wary of doing so.

Secondly, to reassure any of you waiting for your wii fits to arrive from Germany - I ordered mine last Tuesday evening (27th). It was despatched on 28th, with estimated delivery on 31st. As above, it arrived today (2nd) at 9.30am. I couldn't track the shipment in the UK - even following the advice on this board, the DHL site wouldn't recognise my tracking number (no matter where I put it!). So it looks like this element is a bit patchy (if it hadn't arrived today I would have phoned DHL and got hold of a UK reference, as described above).

Thirdly, the game works fine (i.e. in English). The instructions for the balance board are multi-language. The instructions in the wii fit game box itself are in German, but if you go to the Nintendo website (.com), support (at the top), manuals (on left hand side) you can get a copy in English - but as others have said, you don't really need them (although if you're still waiting for yours to arrive, it helps to fill the time...).

So thanks again all in helping me get my hands on a wii fit. I'm off for a 'run'.

Oh lovely - I ordered mine on the evening of the 27th as well so hopefully it will have come today (or at least they will have attempted delivery!) then i can go and pick it up later!!

Just to warn you, it does now state 5 to 7 weeks for delivery.

Hi - I thought I would add to this thread on the Wii Fit search which has consumed my life all weekend since the purchase of my Wii ! Tonight I have found a site - orangesunsets.net and ordered my wii board for £99.00 inc delivery - I know its a lot but the prices on ebay are worse ! They say they have them in stock and a UK company which you can track your order - you can also pay by Paypal which I have done so in theory my board has been paid for by my ebay sales of my daughters clothing ! If someone else has put this link down before sorry this is only my second posting !!!

ok ok, I checked Woolies today and you were right it was a ton of empty boxs :rolleyes: they have taken all the signs down that said OOS so I asked at the till and she said the are hoping for an order in the near future but were not sure of the date but also were only getting a few (again not sure on the quantity) so had taken the signs down so if peeps asked and they happened to be in that day they were selling them on a first come first served basis. if they were taking crap or what

I have just taken delivery of probably the most overpriced Wii Fit!! After using mine (I was lucky and got one from HMV a few weeks back) my friend was looking everywhere, in then end she paid £120 (inc. del) on thursday last week and it has just been delivered.
