This is interesting. I saw this thread a few days ago and tried to order. It said the offer had finished & wouldn't process.

However, upon seeing it today I tried again & this time it took my order.

I ordered 2 but when I tried adding the brief case too it said I needed to add another £0.02 to qualify?????? I added something else & it still wouldn't accept the code. I think it might be a bit hit & miss. Not complaining though, it would be brilliant if I had managed to make it through at the tail end of this offer. Fingers crossed.

it said that to me, about the 2p, so i added something and it accepted it.

Hmmm...just went to get the page reference for a friend and the web site's down! Hope they haven't done a runner with my money.

LesD - Hope to put your mind at rest. Viking have been around for donkey's years - I am a small business owner and have used them for ages and have found them good to deal with. Think your dosh should be safe.

Thanks, grandma. I managed to suss mine out - I was doing it all wrong.....

I was trying to lift the end of the arm vertically to adjust the height, whereas I needed to lift the eliptical plastic tab on the end of the arm - subtly different operation to other chairs I've had.

BTW - no CD/Radio came with mine in spite of putting the code in - might ring them.

I've used viking for fifteen years for my husbands business and they've never let me down.
If you're ordering over the phone always ask them to throw in a free gift, I've had everything from Christmas tree decoratrions to whole luggage sets over the years!

I ordered a very similar chair (I assume it's the same make as they are almost identical) from here a few months back. Seemed great but murdered my back. Had to give it away. Hopefully you'll have better luck.
