  • I got a "Forever Sharp" knife free for watching a demonstration in Debenhams about three years ago.

Amazingly it is the best paring knife I have ever had, and is still sharp.

they were selling these knives in home bargains about a year ago for 1.99 - I bought about three and gave them out among family. They are great - just watch your fingers as they are really sharp. Couldnt fault them. I know you have paid more for them but they are good knives. Also use the paring knives which are excellent but I keep losing them in the peelings and have to go out and buy more. The freebis they give out now in my area are the spiral cutters for cucumbers etc - not a very good freebie at all

Just picked up a freebie from my local Morrisons today. It is still "about to be released in the UK"....but she did indeed cut into a hammer at the end.

The set which she said was worth £200 but she was selling for £40 is the same as this:

    I'm glad I didn't buy.
  • I bought a set of these knives along with my mum about 3 yrs ago " the sharpest knives you'll ever need" "never need sharpening" just a couple of things the demonstrator said about these knives....what a load of rubbish!! I have been trying to contact twin towers trading about getting a refund, to no avail. During the demo we were shown how a frozen chicken can be cut using one of the knives, cutting thru a chopping board...mine struggles cutting a tomato!! The juicer...well, a FULL glass of orange was produced from under the counter, apparently made from the super juicer, again, rubbish!! Ive tried to return them to morrisons for a refund with no luck, tried contacting twin towers trading....no reply mmmmmm...i have read some good reviews about them, unfortunately mine isnt 1 of them. My advice, dont buy!! Im just waiting for another demo in my local store as hopefully i will be there, where i will take my set down and see if she can cut thru a frozen chicken then!!!!
  • Slightly suspicious the company is called Twin Towers Trading isn't it. I bought these too, and they are sharp, but not *that* sharp.
  • I saw the demo at a local Morrisons. Cutting through a hammer etc. and bought the knives. The knives are very flimsy and too flexible for a lot of meat purposes. Mine have gone blunt and I cut myself twice with them recently. The ad speak simply isn't true.
  • I bought some of these knives a few years ago from my local Morrisons, they are the best knives i've ever used. They go in and out of our dishwasher, havent gone rusty and really WILL cut ANYTHING!
Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!
  • Hi folks. A lot of people on this forum are happy with this product. My mother in law has a set and she is very happy. I intend on getting a set myself and met one of their reps recently who was selling their slicer. These knives carry a lifetime guarantee which says if you have any problem with them they will be replaced no questions asked. There aren't many products these days with a guarantee like that. Those of you who aren't happy with your knife, do contact the company and return your knife to them. They will replace it for you.
  • Mine are nowhere near as sharp as they started out. The advertising is hype. Sure you can send them back for a replacement but mine said it had to be in its original cardboard sleeve and there was a fee. Hardly worth the effort.
