BT Calls taken in India

Why there is so much rant with overseas call centres??
Call centres can't make an organisation good or bad - it's the management who are responsible!
Who sent the jobs to India - some Britons!
Who are reaping the benefits of cheaper labour - some Britons!
Let's face it - its global economy now, cheaper is definitely not always better but there is no guarantee that if you pay more if you always get a better service.
Rather the philosophy is now - if you pay less, you'll suffer less.
Every little helps

Moving house next month and absolutely dreading it. As it is a new build we have to have BT for a year. Been renting for 10 months and only just got BT's problems moving to this house resolved!!! Have to say I could not bear having a problem again as it took on average 1 hour to answer the call then another hour to get anyone to understand. Even then nothing happened.
To be fair wasn't just non UK call centre who couldn't do their job but UK was just as bad. At least non UK didn't tell outrights lies like UK did. Now have contact details for someone in Uk who has offered to help should I have a problem!!!! I will be sending her a Xmas card this year as we are now on first name terms and communicate regularily by email. Well every time I get a bill !!!
Now wouldn't care where call centre was as long as they could do their job properly and answer the phone within a reasonable amount of time.I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0 -
Dont companies understand thats what people want???;)
:rotfl:
I think you'll find companies know exactly what people want.............the cheapest possible price, which is why they respond by keeping their costs down to achieve this.
The problem I've found with some people having worked with the public for quiet some time is everyone assumes they are an average customer and that all the other customers want the same as they want. All to often people with this opinion are infact a minority, but you try and explain that to them!0
