I always scrape burnt toast! I even did this on saturday when making welsh rarebit and cut the burnt crusts off LOL...

I often scrape the toast,mind you I like my toast very well done and it has to be cold,if it's hot It just is'nt the same and it just has to have butter and marmite on it.OH will only eat it cold as well.0
