the new clinique mascara forms tubes too and apparently is good. Personally i didn't like the feeling of taking it off with my fingers....after being "trained" by beauty mags over the years not to pick off mascara it just feels wrong!
For me it has to be max factor aqualash. For the "fake eyelash" effect i think the best thing is a good pair of eyelash curlers!!!
Have you tried walking round one of the big department stores and explaining your dilema - sure they would give you some free mini mascara samples (i'm a bit of a "free sample" kinda girl!!) or Avon do a free refund if you don't like their products? Suppose i'm suggesting the scattergun approach of try as many as possible!!
Good Luck!

I get this done. It takes about 10 minutes, but it stings like mad towards the end of this time. I hate having it done because of the stinging, and can't do it at home as I always want to take the dye off before it does the job, but I am a very low maintenance kind of girl, so there is no way I would get round to putting mascara on every day!
I've had it done before holidays for yearsIts never stung for me, perhaps you have sensitive skin or eyes?

Don't get me wrong, I have a few brands that are ok, but I'm still looking for "the one":D0 -
I've tried various mascaras over the years, I always choose waterproof, but the 2 I use the use the most aren't waterproof but they may aswell be because it's damn hard to get the ruddy things off! Put it this way, I've cried, I've washed & I've been in the rain with both and they don't budge at all!
The first one is this Clinique one and the second is (and although I normally don't rate Rimmel at all, this one
The Rimmel one makes my eyelashes look so long and thick, that I haven't used the Clinique one in ages now.
Neither clog on the brush either.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I always have mine dyed, gives the colour but not the length, but mine are quite long anyway so it suits me. I never had a problem with stinging either though.0

i used to work in a swimming pool and the humidity always used to make my eyes resemble pandas until i found this mascara and have been using it for the last 4 or 5 years
i buy it from ebay as its not available in the shops - cant recommend it enough
I didn't rate the blinc one and think it would be rubbish if you wore contacts. I found it to be quite fibre shedding and the 'tubes' would often come off. I used to use the kanebo 28' silk which is similar to blink but was discontinued in Europe.
The bourjois clubbing one is good and definitely the best cheap one I have used. i also bought the loreal black glossy one which is getting lots of publicity at the moment. It is rubbish so don't waste your money. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
Models best kept secret ? Kanebo 38C mascara only comes off when you use water over 38 degrees undiscovered secret
reviews here.

This is the best mascara I have ever used! I have used Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance mascara for over 10 years, and nothing else even comes close. It even stayed on all day, all night and into the next morning when I gave birth to my son - surely this is testimony to its staying power! It's very easy to remove using water over 38 degrees centigrade - it comes off in long pieces, which actually look like your eyelashes are coming off (which is a bit disconcerting to start with)! No need to rub or scrub around the delicate eye area, or buy eye make-up removing products. Resistant to sweat, tears, swimming pools, and stays on whilst you are doing a work-out in the gym.Are U getting enough Vitamin D in your life!?0 -
