    Yep i used to multiply by 5 and think oh- can i get away with that outfit again on pics? so long as the kids are dressed smart:D I used to drink all the freebies, make sure i had spare bottles in bags and cans in car as hotels are quite expensive for drinks, and once when we had to go to a really posh wedding, i got a dress jacket etc and took the dress back to the shop after-I still cringe when i think about it now:o

    ...and when you do go, you spend half the evening in the hotel loos topping up your glass from the bottle of value gin you brought in your handbag. Then spend the other half of the evening trying to ram the empty bottle into the sanitary bin!

    Please tell me it isn't just me that's done that...

    I now know I'm an obsessed DFW when I...

    close this website down quickly when anyone comes near me because I'm always on it so much and they'll start to think I'm strange
  • I'm new too....

    I know I'm now a DFW when I'm flicking through my drawers for stuff to put on Ebay and find a birthday card and think......I must remember that is there!

    Does anyone else find it strange lecturing your parents about how to manage their finances?

    Oh how the tables have turned. They used to lecture me about my debt (fair enough) but they dont like me doing it to them. I do worry though and cant wait to get home to be able to do it properly for them!:rolleyes:

    You wrap gifts in the leftover roll of turquoise and silver wrapping paper you have on a 'feature' wall at home;
    You always have a wee look in the bin at the Tesco garage to see if there are any spare receipts with Clubcard points going!
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    love these and have now caught up & chuccled all the way! Did laugh at the image of pandapdaws stuffing the gin in the bin! Hope you drank it al first though!!
    Thought of another one...when you have leftover bananas (that you previously would have chucked) and manage to create a delicious banana cake that will last for days!! Am actually quite proud of myself for this as wouldnt even eat leftovers before!
