most bundles tend to be for about 50 items, and they sell for around £25 plus p&p, but these have to contain some mid/top end designer brands, Next is the lowest name most people will bid on, if theres items from supermarkets/matalan in your bundle, then it prob wont sell for much, if at all

Please could someone give me an idea of some mid/top end designer brands? My daughter-in-law is having her fifth baby  and I'd like to bid for some nice clothes that she wouldn't normally think of buying, as a treat.

The trouble is, apart from Next and Baby Gap I wouldn't know a 'good' baby label if it slapped me in the face

    Many thanks

I have had a look on e-bay and baby clothes don't appear to be going for much, I think I may try local paper first and see what happens there. Many thanks for all of your replies.

Glad, I can't appear to find that, could you send me the link?

I found age 2+ seems to be selling well but not baby, i.e. 3-6 months.

I am going to do my first car boot sale this weekend. What I'm selling ranges from what I think of as junk to an electric lawnmower, a gas barbeque and a sewing machine. How do you go about deciding how to price what you sell at a car boot?

    Hi
My sister and i done a few car-boots last year
I priced mine up at a price i thought reasonable(something i would pay for that item)
My sister didnt and thats what attracted people to her stall because in your head you have a price but they have to ask
So we took our labels off and a lot more were interested
Dont be bullied into dropping your prices too much
I had a Lovely large wooden dolls house it was brand new we had it made for our daughter cost over £100 and she never played with it
I wanted £25 but would go down to £20
this woman kept asking every 15 mins how much etc i stuck to my guns she asked again at about an hour before the end i told her again and she paid the full price £25
My sister had lovely baby stuff all hung up and it hardly sold
I dont sell on E bay(i havnt a clue how to do it) but i do buy and if i see its in very good condition i will pay upto £10 for a named piece of clothing for my children
    reebok 3/4 length bottoms v.g.c £5.50 including £1.00 p&p

Another thing when you first arrive and start un packing you get loads trying to look in your boxes and as your trying to get sorted they try and get the item for very cheap because they know you want to get sorted
The very first car boot i did i was an idiot because they were stressing me out i said yes to a lot of the prices
The ones after that i just said im still sorting out please come back when i have
and they did come back but as i was sorted i was less stressed so didnt give in
I do love doing car boots now
You have just got to say to yourself what would you pay for that item and have a number in your head the lowest you would take for it and dont go any lower if you want to get rid of the stuff sell it cheap if you dont mind taking some home until the next one then stick to your guns because it will go eventually mine did ive just got to find more now to sell lol
