Most Argos stores are working with a bare minimum of staff these days. If you sack the lot of 'em there'll be even longer queues. All checkout staff should be made to say "The following information is a work of fiction:"
Your order number is 932 and will be ready from Collection Point A in 3 minutes. :rotfl:The man without a signature.0 -
I had a similar thing with a sat nav from Halfords.....I took it back and it went back for repair....on its return it would not load and the original fault was still there. They still downloaded the programme, but by the time we got home it had gone wrong again.
We took it back and got a replacement which has been perfect..........it is quite reasonable to send the sat nav for repair, if its not right when it comes back, then you can ask for a replacement. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Any replies appreciated.
You are 100% wrong - next.0 -
Pity she didn't ask herself if she was right or wrong the first time round.
It was people like that that made me hate retail.0 -

Lost or stuck up a narrow track or in a river after blindly following the satnav0 -
if something is not of ‘satisfactory quality’ you have the right have it replaced or repaired free. You can ask the retailer to do either, but it can normally choose to do whichever would be cheapest. They are under no obligation to replace the item without attempting a repair first.
You were wrong. And being rude to staff will get you nowhere.Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0 -
Well nice to see you've all got a sense of humour!!!.
For those who replied good, bad or indifferent thanks.
To answer a quick couple of points, if i were going to the same destination for work everyday it would be safe to assume i should know the way, so logically i'm not doing that!!( which is why i need the sat nav).
Regarding the DM at Argos i thought he was an idiot because apparently he states i can go anywhere in the country and use a sat nav, EXCEPT to go to work as that would be classed as business use, and they only sell goods for domestice use.
So all you sat navers who use it to get to work watch out!0 -
Good to see you taken the responses tongue in checkholidayqueen wrote: »Well nice to see you've all got a sense of humour!!!.0

I bet if the staff at Argos had a sense of humour and told you what they thought of you (as a joke of course) your sense of humour would have suddenly disappeared!0
