Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I've had the same its a shame to say!! It would have been nice to know if she enjoyed the concert at The Royal Albert Hall

However, I also got *abuse* from one comper when I posted the offer in the first place!! She wanted to know why I had entered the comp in the first place if I didnt want the prize.

To be honest she gave this part of the forum a bad name and put me off posting in here!!!

I must admit, I've been very lucky the few times I've asked for tickets and always try to remember to say thank you. I've also been lucky enough to give away tickets for events to a good home and been thanked in return, so I'm hoping it's more then exception then the rule if people aren't being thanked.

One thing I'd suggest though is if people really want to win a comp that might not be to everyone's taste (tickets or oddball stuff I'm thinking of) perhaps they would like to mention it on the that competition? I'd be happy to enter in my name and send them on to a good home if it's not something I want to go to or win. :) I know I was entering all the chicken coop related comps for a while for one of the posters here and I would have happily given any of the prizes away to them.

    That's really rude :( xxxx

I must admit, though, that when I have given my prizes away to people I know because they really need them more than me, quite a few times I have been met with the attitude of 'well I don't need to say thanks do I? You got it for free anyway..'

...really P's me off that does... making me wish I'd just kept whatever it was as I only entered in the first place as I'd like it myself. . and yes I do get to enter piles of comps but it's because I can't work.... they begrudge me all my wins even though they have jobs and can earn money to buy things themselves!

I wont let those few stop me from giving though as I know how much some people really appreciate the gift.
