Please say thank you!

I just wanted to add a plea for people to thank mse-ers if they send you a prize they don't need. Mostly people have been really nice when i have passed along things that I didn't need or like, but I have had a couple of people not even bother to say thanks, or reply when I private message them to ask if it has arrived.

They were quick enough to PM me when I offered the prizes though!

I just found it particularly rude as I pay for the postage myself as a compers gesture of goodwill.

Here, Here Kirsteen! Offering prizes is a lovely thing to do and a thanks is only one word.

I am horrified you even needed to post this. I think people who give away unwanted prizes are brilliant. I'd be thrilled to bits if someone was kind enough to pass on an unwanted prize. I totally agree that a thank you is the very least you can expect.

That's not very nice that they do that. Don't worry about it- at least you can rest easy in the knowledge that you are kind and considerate. Let's hope that one day they will learn to say thanks.

I totally agree, it costs nothing to say thank you
I am suprised how many people in everyday life fail to have the ability to say that one word, i was brought up and my children have been brought up with manners, where have things gone so wrong that so many people are not taught this so very easy thing to do

Downright ignorant & inexusable behaviour!

Keep a list of the ignorant people & if you offer another prize & they apply, ignore them.

Well done for offering your unwanted prizes, it's a lovely gesture, appreciated by many, I'm sure. :T

Couldn't agree more!! I have both sent & received unwanted prizes & have always been really thankful & usually sent more than one PM to say thanks!

Can't believe people could be so ungrateful - they know who they are now though don't they!!!!!!!
