Yep. Entirely the wrong thing and very much not needed - water is just fine for this one. Terribly sorry, but....the paddle comes out??!!
Well, that's news to me! :rotfl: :rotfl:
That may just make cleaning the MR Fastbake a little simpler...
Thank you!:wall:0 -
Oh please be careful trying to get your paddles out everyone !
I ruined my Morphy Richards BM by bending the spindle whilst trying to get the paddle out 2 yrs ago. The poor BM was ruined so I bought a Panasonic.
I am happy to say the paddle has not stuck once in the last 2 yrs I've been using this one and I've never oiled it and its never stuck in the loaf either.A penny saved is a penny earned

I drilled a hole in the top of the paddle and used a gear puller, bought for a few dollars at an automobile tool shop.
My paddle was stuck so firmly that all the other suggestions in this thread didn't work.0 -
OMG I am going mad about this...my paddle is stuck in my Breville breadmaker. I have tried soaking in in soapy hot water, I have tried baking soda and vinegar, I have wiggled it until my hands and wrists hurt, I can not get it out! any other solutions? can I take the mechanism apart from the bottom and then reconnect it? there has to be a way to get the paddle unstuck. Thanks0
