im so upset now, just off the phone to boots, been following this thread for a few weeks and registered for all the clubs and started collecting points, i got to £7 and then a week or so ago i received a new card in the post which said thank you for reporting your old card lost or damaged, here is your new one, and i hadnt reported my card lost or damaged.
so i tried my card in the ac machine and it said i had only 81p worth of points, where i have a reciept on top of my pc which says i had 7 pounds worth.
so i called up today, the advisor told me that i had registered for parenting club so it recognises me as a new cust so sent me a new card, so i asked how does she explain the 'heres your new card, thank you for reporting your previous one lost or damamged' she said she didnt know.
i think i may have lost my card, someone may have found my card and used the points then called up to stop it, what do you think ? the advisor said they couldnt stop other peoples cards, i said so if i found a card in the street and called up you wouldnt stop it, and she said no. she also said there were no points history, when i only used my existing card a week or so ago.
ah well I will just need to get started again then:rotfl:Little Miss Sparkles :A

Boots Soltan is now buy one get one free. In the clearance section in my local store they had dozens of bottles of Soltan reduced and when I bought 2 was only charged the reduced price for one, so 2 bottles of Soltan Once for £6.
All clearance items also get offers such as bogof but the thing that concerns me about suntan lotion is that is last year and it looses it strength the longer it is kept. I always buy new every year.
For me personally I would not take the chance.

whats up...what did ur boss say?
I will be going back to work soon on a phased return after an operation in November.
She just expects me back sooner and faster than I would like!
She also wants me to resume normal duties almost right away.
I have appt with Occupational health in a couple of weeks and they will set my hours for my phased return, but its awkward when your boss wants more.
I went through all this the last time (first operation failed) and Occ Health had to write a very strong letter when I was being forced to do far too much too soon.I was being emotionally blackmailed into doing things I wasn't happy doing, heavy equipment etc.
I may have to delay my return until I can cope with more hours/duties.
Anyway ,sorry to go on.............bet you wished you never asked:rotfl:
This site has kept me sane :T  :T
Plus if I go back that means less Bootsing............only joking.............I do need to go back to pay for the bootsing:rotfl:
Off for a bit of retail...............:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

Hiya
Went today and asked and the SAs about the new keypad and they thought it was to manually key in your account number when the machine couldn't read your card. No, not getting PINs but they thought it a good idea too.
Anyway, wanted to get another GWP as daughter now has 3 birthday parties in the next week. So, bought:
No7 Younger Longer Hand Cream (10.75)
Highlighter (10.75)
GWP
Nivea Q10Plus Daycream (6.79)
Being a newbie, didn't want to appear flustered so I got my vouchers ready but something was niggling...
Went to pay, SA scanned, I handed over vouchers and she said "don't you have the 5.00 off pink voucher?" I thought "yes!!!" that was the niggle. I said "yes I do!" and she said "I thought you might..." to which I replied "aren't you lovely!!" She then went to manually add the 250pts as well.
So got all above for 12.54 + 650pts + 5.00 pink voucher and another 250pts voucher for next time.
Family thinks it funny that all pressies from now on are from Boots. If Boots made chocolates, they'd get that too....maybe chocolates to make your skin look good???0 -

Hope you have a good shop and come back feeling happier. Don't apologise for telling us what was getting you down - we asked and I'm sure all your fellow Bootsers wish you all the best. Stick to your guns and don't be bullied into doing more than you can manage. Save your strength for restorative Bootsing!
Take care!0 -

Just wanted to share my Boots experience today!! I am very proud of myself, I am new to Bootsing and finally plucked up the courage.
1st purchase No 7 foundation £10.00 which I needed anyway, No 7 Limited Edition Eye Palette clearance at 40p, Highlights and GWP - Total spend £10.40. They intially tried to charge me £18.00 as Eye Palette scanned at full price. Also got the £5.00 pink voucher!
Went off for a quick coffee to calm down!! Then went back in a little later and got No7 Mens Anti Ageing Balm, Highlights and GWP, used the £5.00 voucher and got 250 points from previous GWP, so total spend £6.50!!0
