  • Hi everyone,
Just going through my purse to see which vouchers are still valid.
Can anyone tell me what the cheapest thing to buy that can used with the 500pt detox voucher?

When jediteacher & Krispiiduck are busy, will you take over my shopping please? :rotfl: ;)

Great about the hair colourant :D and as for Shop 4 ...! speechless lol

No probs, I can do that ;)

The 10% makes a heck of difference though, especially when they calculate it on the full price. The hair colourant for anyone interested is this one. 8.1 Natural medium ash blonde. It's £3.87 online, but instore it's about £4.70? I cleared the shelf (at £1.94 who can blame me)

Usually my luck runs the other way. If they were all reduced except one, it would normally be mine. It was my lucky day yesterday. :T :T

I did some great shops in Boots.

    Shop.. 4
    No 7 P & P Gift set £20.00
    Scar reduction serum £3.99
    Highlighter powder... Free
    Gwp... Free
    Pink voucher
    Highlighter voucher
    Cost =£18.99 & 375 pts + Pink voucher

As I went to pick up another set of the PP & P I noticed that my 10% HC had not been deducted

Hi, please can you explain what the 10%HC discount is, how you get it and what you expected it to apply to? Thanks a lot!

Hi Clare it is the Health Club, but the 10% discount on all Boots products is only applied if you are over 60 I think you will have a way to go to get this one. Worth telling any older family members about though, as I get 10% discount when spending my points too. The only perk I have found so far for being 60.

The problem is, it flashes up on the til, 60 and over, 60 and over, like lights on a christmas tree. A tad embarressing on a big shop. :o

  • This might be a silly question but what is an i-brush, i know its to do with make up

Not a silly question at all. An i-brush is a makeup brush to apply eye makeup by Ruby & Millie. They cost £5 and are free when you use the no7 current voucher to 'pay' for it.

    Hope that makes sense.

For those who are unsure how to send pm's ( private messages )
    Using me as an example:

click on my username over to the top left hogshead
a dropdown will appear & the 2nd option is send hogshead a private message
click this & you will get a fresh page in which to type all you secrets to me without anyone else knowing....shhhhh

    Hello fellow Hertfordshire Bootser.

I'm afraid I 'only' get to Boots on a monday and tuesday as I work the rest of the week. It does feel like daily though!

You should definitely get there as the SAs are fantastic. I promise not to whip away all the bargains. LOL. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I thought I had read on a prevous version of this thread that some Boots do have self scan checkouts. Might be mistaken though:confused:

I'm pretty sure they had self scan checkouts in the Milton Keynes Boots when I was in there on Saturday. I would have loved to have used them because I had to get my 13 year old DD to come with me for backup when approaching the manned tills so if i could have used my vouchers and still got my bargains at a self scan checkout I would have been in my element (even if I would have probably wound up my DH and 10 year old DD waiting patiently outside!!) Unfortunately I was worried the vouchers/gwp etc... wouldn't work on these tills so avoided them. Anybody tried them out at all?
  • Hi, just a quick question. I think I picked up a copy of the mag with the voucher for free illuminating powder a few weeks ago, but I may be wrong as I usually tear the vouchers out as soon as I get home. Anyway, I'm not sure if I got one or not, but if I did, then I have lost it.
Next time I'm in Boots, if I take a mag to the counter, if I have already had a copy, will I have to pay for the second one?

I've never had had to pay for any of mine and sometimes get half dozen or so.

    Hope this helps.
