these are generated at random - but each individual store has a target for responses and if not enough people reply the tills are programmed to generate more surveys-sometimes one for every transaction for a while0

No not tried anything from that range. Isn't this the range that has the points voucher in the new mag?
http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1092649&classificationid=1042986
Its a spa product so i think it should be in the range with the extra points??
can the vouchers in the new mag be used now? as it would be 200 points back on a £3.33 spend.Gotta love a bargain :j0 -
Sorry if the answer is already in the thread but can anyone confirm whether the highlighter voucher, 250 pts from GWP and/or £5 off No 7 work with No 7 electrical products (specifically the trimmer and eyelash curler)? Or is it one of those depends on till/store/SA things? TIA
Did not work for me.
I bought the Eye Lash Curler + highlighter.
Tried to use the 250 points (from earlier GWP), highlighter voucher, current £5.00 Pink voucher.
Till beeped with the 250 points voucher (SA handed me it back after reading T&C's saying it was for skincare only)
Highlighter went thru ok
£5.00 voucher, although scanned and placed in the till, did not come off my bill. Luckily I noticed whilst scanning the receipt on the way out.
Went back to the SA who said that the till had not Beeped but confirmed that it had not been taken off! Basically, the till had decided that the better offer was to get a £10.25 highlighter free and pay or the Eyelash curlers at £5.00. Because I would not be able to get a free highlighter if I did not pay for the other No7 product, which was the eyelash curlers! Personally I would have preferred the £5.00 off and no Highlighter.....but she did give me an extra pink £5.00 voucher for my trouble, and returned my original one!0 -
Hi Lemony...A similar thing has happened to me before...this was regarding some reduced shampoos and a voucher from the ACM for 250 points when you bought one.
The duty manager was so rude and like you she did it in front of all the customers in the queue. Sad thing is I have boots CS number in my mobile so i called up and explained what had just happened. I said i wanted to make a formal complaint as this was not the way i expected to be treated.
End result was that I got put thro to a senior advisor, made my complaint, and was awarded 1000points.
HTH and I would definitely give CS a call...
On another CS related note, I think calling up CS to tell them when you've had a really good boots experience is just as important. I called up the other week to tell them about the 2 lovely SA's in London Colney, and was told by the senior advisor that my comments would be passed to the manager of London Colney to feed back to those staff members during their appraisals. It's a short phonecall to make and hopefully it can give something back to those SAs who take the time to help us out too! (Oki rant over...time to tidy up!)
Mumzy are there any S&G sets left in watford? TIA!:D0 -
Has the 6 for 3 offer gone. I'm trying to do the cotton wool thingy.
I've got 6 in my basket but it's coming up at £12 - that must be the 2 for £2 which is betterHere come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!0 -
Hiya:hello: it's nice to see more Luton Bootsers posting on this thread:D
The clearance section is rubbish isn't it? nothing worth buying there, except for the Ted Baker bags reduced to 4.00, but scan at 2.66 (1/3 off TB) + there's a 100points coupon in AC machine for TB. I've bought a couple of these:D
It's actually very hard to spot glitches (or take advantage of them) in this store, because the manager is very good at disguising them. He either reads this forum or he's an ex Bootser:rotfl:
I'd love to know which SA told you that you couldn't use the points coupon with the free highlighter. There is a couple of jobsworths in that branch (I can think of one in particular), but mostly they are very nice, especially upstairs on the photo counter. My favourite SA works up there.
I might bump into you sometime. You will easily spot me. If you see someone holding a clear plastic wallet stuffed to the brim with vouchers that will be me:D
:T Hi there fellow Luton Bootser,
As i'm pretty new to all this bootsing (only got addicted about 3 weeks ago!!!) I really appreciate yor experience.
As I don't drive I rely on buses for my transport and fit in my visits around my job at a Supermarket!! I've been doing alot of overtime over the last couple of weeks which leaves me with little time to 'pop' in to Boots but more money to spend when I get there!!
I don't think I have got over the 'going red and looking guilty' stage when I approach the tills with all my coupons/vouchers and even go in once on my way into town, hide my Boots goodies in another carrier bag so they don't get suspicious, and then go back again on my way out so any tips on the best tips/tills to go to would be appreciated!!! I've never tried the photo till upstairs so if you recommend it maybe I will try that one on Friday when I go in with my 6 x No7 £5.00 off pink vouchers and 3 x 250 points coupons. Do you know what the No7 SA's are like cause I was going to buy 2 or 3 nail varnishes with three of my vouchers (don't wear hardly any makeup - although I have 3 daughters (2 of them do!!) and was just going to take them to a till and ask them to to do two seperate transactions using no other vouchers than the £5.00 off. Would anyone complain about this!!!
Anyway thanks for making me welcome and sorry for the long post - I'm just having so much fun reading these posts and actually getting away with my bargains and the look on my 16 year old nephews face when I showed him my bargains and explained how I got them yesterday was worth it!!:j
Having a days holiday today and should be catching up on the housework but am just too hooked on this site!!!
Regards and TIA.0 -
You know the above comments by a new bootser is exactly why we should all complain about Lemony's treatment. It may have put off a load of people in the shop from using vouchers. Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!0

I just had a look online at the no7 for men.....may sound strange but I guess 'mens products' can still be used by us women!?? - what is the difference?? any?? I personally think all men/womens products are similar aren't they?? (just different smells - or are they not be used by women?)
Clinique's DDML is the same stuff packaged as the men's moisturiser for instance. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

They're terribly polite though and handy for product searches - that's about their limit these days. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
