    - also I just had a look online at the no7 for men.....may sound strange but I guess 'mens products' can still be used by us women!?? - what is the difference?? any?? I personally think all men/womens products are similar aren't they?? (just different smells - or are they not be used by women?) - I'll suddenly develop a beard!! :)

    Thanks for any helpX

Men have tougher skin usually so I don't think I would use a man's facial scrub, for example, if I had sensitive skin. Apart from that I suspect the difference is just the smell and the packaging. If you like it, go for it.

I think there will be quite a few offers on for the No7 mens products as Boots work on building up a loyal customer base for them. I've certainly bought a few of the mens No7 with the pink vouchers plus GWP points vouchers...my son is 11+ and just getting into smellies and preening himself! Usually it's his sister that gets the overspill of gifts, so it's nice to get male things.

I'm not sure I should admit this, but I hardly ever get mine scanned. I forget I've picked one up and only remember once I've left the store;)

Lol same here.....you'll see me hiding down an aisle cutting out the voucher ready to glitch:D

Or if shop quiet I'll but a bottle of diet coke and get 1st mag scanned:A

I haven't a clue, but I wish it was a double voucher (greedy me!). Remember the haircare/No7 vouchers? they were fab:D

I wouldn't have minded but she stormed over, was rude and abrupt in front of other customers, and I felt humiliated.

But I do feel like I was picked on and now I don't feel I will be able to go back in store for a while to take advantage of any other offers.

I think that's the essence of the complaint, really. And it's not good news for Boots either. Belive it or not HO does welcome customer feedback on their staff, especially if it's poor. All you need is one unpleasent store manager who encourages her staff to be unhelpful ...and they've lost the trading base of that geographical area to Superdrug. Word gets around...you know the old saying that if you have a good experience at a shop you tell three friends, a bad one and you tell twenty?

it smells so nice even i try to eat it. Only kidding.
Have you tried the jelly sessions? im wondering what that is like?

No not tried anything from that range. Isn't this the range that has the points voucher in the new mag?
  • Awww, and I adore Puppies! (not to eat lol) What breed is he/she? x

She's a King Charles Cavalier - Blenheim. Really adorable, friendly doesn't make a good guard dog. A little lap dog sits on my knee and the lap top hence my crap typing:rotfl: ......well thats my excuse
  • Awww I love Spaniels! We've always had english springer spaniels in our family, the show type, and they make the most adorable pets :smileyhea

Right, back on topic. List all wrote out,...off to some previously unventured Boots now (after using shop search lol) to use up last 4x highlighter & 250pointers as offer ends today. :D I want 4 GWP aswell, so dragging boyfriend along,...again! Him? oh he's ecstatic!...Not! lol.

    Thanks Broclo and Valk_scot.

The SA did not say I could not use the Illum voucher with the tan wipe, so I don't think she was tying to stop a glitch. She said I had bought those items at more than one till and it was 'one per customer'. When I said I thought it was one per transaction she changed her reply to 'it's one per advantage card'. I wouldn't have minded but she stormed over, was rude and abrupt in front of other customers, and I felt humiliated. I have spent well over £200 in Boots stores and online this month so why should she care if I get a few free Illum powders?

Val - I'm in my 30's so I'm not exactly young. But I do feel like I was picked on and now I don't feel I will be able to go back in store for a while to take advantage of any other offers.

Jeeez can't believe what happened. I have done everything you have done. Ripped and cut vouchers out in store and done the rounds all over the tills in store.

What would she have said if you had done one transaction at the till stepped outside the store ripped out your voucher and gone back in...I've done this too whilst oh has had a seat. Would this still have been her stance? Is there and difference?

Agree with previous posters ring CS and explain. Did you get SA's/managers name.

Glad it didn't happen to me cos I would have given her verbal I'm afraid. & told her to ring CS whilst I was there:D

    What a cheeky blooming mare

She's on settee snoring away as we type:D

Dollordog said she saw highlighters in clearance at £5 so not sure what would happen if you find the same. Would voucher still take full amount off total but would still mean having to find more to make upto £20. Let us know how you get on.

In today's Daily Mail, there's a coupon for free glucosamine sulphate tablets at Boots. There is another coupon in the Jan/Feb Boots magazine for 100 points when you buy these tablets. If they work together, you could get 100 points plus free tablets!

The Boots coupon expires today, so be quick if you want to try it.
