  • Preston Deepdale - P&P £20 sets sold out, no magazines and ACMs not working well! So after spending a tenner on essentials to get a £5 voucher, I just got an £8.50 (for £3.50) stay perfect eye mousse - they're great. Eye shadow never normally stays on me but this does and it's a bit sparkly and a little goes a long way.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
well had to visit Boots opticians this morning and as they fleeced me for almost £200:eek: I felt justified in picking up five more magazines with high light vouchers. Quick nip across to Camberley and five purchases as follows

Purchases 1 - 4 were either No 7 cleanser or toner with highlights voucher, pink voucher and 250 points from previous GWPs - each shop £2 to pay (on GC which only has £11 left on it now:sad:

Purchase No 5 was Perfectly Light Pressed Compact £11, High Lights £10.25 - paid with pink voucher, PC £5 wys £20 (gift from DD who is actually pregnant:T) and of course High Lights Mag voucher. Total to pay £1 on GC.

Total shop value £90.25 (excluding value of GWP)
    Total to pay £9.00
    Points added 1008

I am so going to miss the high lights voucher.

High Lights tally after this mad rush few days.....30:j What am I going to do with them all?.......some in gift hampers for friends and relatives birthdays/Christmas.....and yes......some will go on Ebay later in the year to feed by Boots habit. I don't buy up loads of toys/gifts when they are 75% or 90% off because I think....fairs fair......leave some for someone else - these items are very limited. The high light offer was never in short supply in my locality so I didn't feel at all guilty of maximising my usage of it:T

I am already organising vouchers for No 7 mens points offer:rotfl:

    Edit: new AC total 32827

In today's Daily Mail, there's a coupon for free glucosamine sulphate tablets at Boots. There is another coupon in the Jan/Feb Boots magazine for 100 points when you buy these tablets. If they work together, you could get 100 points plus free tablets!

The Boots coupon expires today, so be quick if you want to try it.

    and it works :rotfl:

    Hi,

Can I return the following (without a receipt):-

**Boots Expert Teeth Whitening Programme** (It's in a white box -it's still unopened)

My brother bought it about 3 weeks ago - He spends too much and buys things he'll NEVER USE!! He doesn't want to use it now and was going to throw it away!!! Hopefully I can exchange it without a receipt instore??? - or is this product classed as 'medicine/pharmacy' (non-returnable???)

    Hope someone can helpX

If you can't return it, try selling on Ebay, they seem quite popular items on there.

On another CS related note, I think calling up CS to tell them when you've had a really good boots experience is just as important. I called up the other week to tell them about the 2 lovely SA's in London Colney, and was told by the senior advisor that my comments would be passed to the manager of London Colney to feed back to those staff members during their appraisals. It's a short phonecall to make and hopefully it can give something back to those SAs who take the time to help us out too! (Oki rant over...time to tidy up!)

Hello fellow London Colney Bootser.

I too have gone on about how fantastic the SAs are in London Colney. I wonder if you rang about the same SAs as I did.

I don't know if it's any help to you but Welwyn Garden City Boots has about 10 of the Soap and Glory sets left.
