I was hoping to exchange one of my P&P 200ml for an R&R 200ml. Does anyone know if they will exchange it for smaller R&Rs to the value of the P&P? But I don't want to take the receipt cos I have just bought it off Boots.com for £24.75 for the big 200ml. Not sure what I would say or if I would be brave (daft) enough to try it.

To be truthful, every person who uses more than one voucher on a transaction, when it clearly states only 1 per transaction could be accused of being dishonest or commiting fraud, couldn't they? And thats just about everyone on here!!!!!!:rotfl:

Same for anyone who has an Advantage card that they use that doesn't belong to them!!!

Could think of a few more examples, but don't want to dwell on this!!!

I see you're in the Midlands, you don't work in the Coventry store by any chance do you? I think I'm getting a little *too* well known in there, last week the SA (who is lovely and I always try to go to!) said "oh hello, what vouchers have you got today then?"

I bought the no 7 micro dermabrasion exfoliator for my mum but now realise she wont use it:rolleyes: can i exchange it? also as i used a £5 no 7 voucher towards it i suppose ill have to exchange it for something else no 7? thanks

As the transaction had not been completed could she not void the items off and purely try for the customer ?...... well the look of horror on her face was a picture and she assured me she was correct and would not check for the customer.
I even felt like the poor customer didn't believe me either!!!! Any way she would not try... I cannot undersatand why it is not as if the GWP would come out of her wages. Anyway by this stage the SA was furious you could even see her face red under her makeup LOL and I got a big fat no to the answer to my question !! Never mind

BTW I know that there is some sort of non refund on No7 cosmetic products but I am not sure what it is ~ I can see online it is if it has not been opened and in original packaging which it is... does anyone know if I can exchange ? Trouble is that I daren't ask that SA so would have to go to another store? It is the illuminating lotion but wanted to exchange for the ltd edition one?

hi boots employee here. in reply to your concerns:

1. most boots stores get their deliveries either 3-4pm in the afternoon (stock to be put out next day) or 6am in the morning (stock put out same day.) so it would have been entirely possible that there had been a delivery in the time you specify.
2. You are correct about the no7. if she had put through the GWP before the voucher, it should work. i did it today. i agree, she should have given the customer the benefit of the doubt and tried. unfortunately some SAs do take comments such as yours as personally undermiming, which they shouldn't, but i would urge customers not to actually get aggressive with SA's, especially if they are young- a lot of them simply aren't experienced or trained beyond the technical workings of the till.
