Guys, can I please just remind you, a bargain is only a bargain if it is something you need!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

Well I did it:D
I went upstairs cos wanted to check ACM. The SA on photo counter was busy so went to till. The SA peered in my basket and said aren't you supposed to have a minimum spend to get that(GWP)? I said yes £20 and that should come to 20 and thought this could be hard work. She put it all through then I started producing my vouchers! The 250 points wouldn't go through but didn't insist (she said it was because I had GWP). I then gave 50 points wys £7.50. she said that won't go through either so I said "would you mind trying it" and it did! The highlighter one she said definately won't go through cos it will take your total under £20 for GWP. I said It worked the other day so she reluctantly put it through and it worked. She said "so you get that free?" Then I gave 100 points for No17 - no problem. when the SA saw the £5 pink voucher she said "I can't take that with all the others". I said "it worked before could you try it" and... it worked. She was not happy and said "and you get another one of these as she gave me my pink voucher.
So I am very pleased with my shop today - OH reckons I will get banned:rotfl:
I don't seem to get a No17 voucher from ACM but still chuffed with what I spent.
Well done!!:T0 -

Yes but when for as little as £5 you can get the hand saviour, a GWP & a highlighter & points these are items you learn to need :rotfl: :rotfl: .0 -
tried No7 points voucher but till said no.........Body serum is not skincare!
So Body serum is not skincare?? How crazy is that.
I always thought the pink stuff I carry around on my body was skin. I think that is one point that I would stand my ground on.
Boots seem to infer that 'skincare' is only on the face. But apparently that does not include the eyes, as last til split people were refused eye cream.
I wonder if it is worth contacting head office or CS to get in writing exactly what skincare is??~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Hello.
I have been away for a few days and feel like I am a year behind on this thread!!
Does the 250 from gwp work with the mens no7 and is there some kind of glitch on it??
I have been reading a bit about
mens no7
The illum.powder
gwp
and ending up paying .50p??
Confused I am !!!0 -
Dollardog - I wanted to say a big thank you for the advice about the i-brushes as today I got three and they all went through the till as free. :j:j:j
Went to my favourite store in London Colney again and whilst I was testing the i-brushes the lovely SA told me that at the back of the store by the suncare were quite a few toiletries reduced. Bless her. :A
So, of course I had to have a look and lo and behold there were quite a few bargains to be had. I got;
Ted Baker mens wash lotion = £1 (but used 100 points for ACM so free!)
Puma eau de toilette = £1.50
Nivea for men moisturiser = 35p
FCUK shaving gel = 20p.
There was lots there but I didn't need or use any of the other stuff. Lots of FCUK, nivea for men, electronic weight watchers scales for £4 and other bits and bobs.
Also managed to use the 250 points on No7 skincare on the men's shaving balm and used the £5 voucher and got the illumination powder all for £1.00 but got back 250 points. :T
I also spoke to the lass on the no7 stand as to when the p&p packs would come in as I was told they would be in today. She told me that they had a delivery of 6 today and they sold out within the first hour of opening. She said that they are expecting a delivery of 50  which should arrive tomorrow.
Phew, I'll stop there!'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0 -
I wish Boots would change one of names of their ranges. No7 or No17 ranges, I get too confused. I know this has been covered several times but so I can get it straight in my head. I can spend £5 on No.17 and get GWP. With the No.7 I have to spend £20 to get the GWP but this can include the free powder stuff at £10.25 and a pink voucher? So I really only have to find something in the No.7 range for £4.75? Is this correct?:j0

Thanks for your welcome too :j . I'm thinking of giving some of the stuff to my son's schools PTFA for their sale/pressie stash! My poor little house is bursting at the seams
Didn't stop me going again today though and picking up another Sanctuary GWP...............
I bought a dozen of so extra gift sets in the 75% off for the school xmas fair as they are definitely welcome. They do a "surprise" room where the kids can go in and choose a pressie and have it fancily wrapped for mum or dad. Gifts are donated weekly in the run up to xmas in exchange for non uniform. First year at school for my little man so it cost me a fortune in november with the donations, cards and wrap so well prepared this year. Plus Sanctuary, No 7 etc will be an improvement on the tweed I spotted :rotfl: Missed all the mens sets though so going to look out for those should they have another sale.
I'm sure your school would be grateful and it frees up room for more goodies :T0
