No you have to find something £9.75 or over to get the GWP...... the £9.75 is added to the £10.25 for the free powder stuff.....making £20 so you get the GWP. Hope this makes sense! :D

When you use the £5 voucher this will leave you £4.75 to pay.

I wish Boots would change one of names of their ranges. No7 or No17 ranges, I get too confused.

    There's no "No." before 17 - it's just 17... Might help?

Ha ha! You went upstairs? That was brave! I'm sticking to downstairs in there from now on, that SA you pointed out, the older one downstairs, seems to have them all well clued up on the bargains on the main tills, they all seem happy to try anything.

    Well done!!:T
It wasn't the usual SA upstairs so I should probably have gone back down. The SA who served me was one I'd had a disagreement years ago about something I tried to take back so I should have known better:D

    Hello.

I have been away for a few days and feel like I am a year behind on this thread!!

Does the 250 from gwp work with the mens no7 and is there some kind of glitch on it??
I have been reading a bit about

    mens no7
    The illum.powder
    gwp

    and ending up paying .50p??

    Confused I am !!!
Yes, the 250 voucher from GWP works with No7 skincare including the new men's skincare range.
The glitch is, buy No7 valued at £9.75 or over, put it through the till with a highlights powder worth £10.25, therefore total spend is £20 which entitles you to GWP, put that through too, then hand over highlights voucher, a pink £5 off voucher from an earlier transaction plus any points vouchers (eg the 250 points if you have bought skincare, including the men's range ) You will only have to pay £4.25, (more if the item is over £9.75) :j
If you are handing over £10 or more in cash then you get another £5 voucher too.

I know this has been covered several times but so I can get it straight in my head. I can spend £5 on No.17 and get GWP.

The 17 GWP is lovely. I have got a few of these already. It may be worth your while checking the ACM as there is a voucher there to buy 2 solo eyeshadow powders for £5. This is enough for the GWP as it's free with a £5 spend. If you have the Boots magazine then there is a coupon in there for 100 points for 17 products and this works with the 2 for £5 spend and the GWP. :j

It's a lot cheaper than no7 but if you have sensitive skin then it may not be for you. I'm buying stuff for my sisters birthday hamper and other relations birthday/Christmas goodies.

Thanks jediteacher, hope you like the brushes now I persuaded you to buy them!!

I had a couple of good shops today too.

First shop, whilst poking about on the No 7 stand, I found some eye shadow palettes with the old bar code on, I have bought and given away so many of these that I should be sick of the sight of them now, but this was my favourite one, so I HAD to have it. It was on with the new ones, but scanned at £4.25, I had tried to get one the other day with a No 7 voucher, but the SA was having none of it, so I left it that time, but decided to try it again today.
Again it wouldn't go through, even with the manager trying, so she just ended up giving it to me and keeping my voucher, she said she would put it through somehow, I also got a Total Effects hand cream, with 500 points voucher, thanks to Kitiaricat. Paid £4.42, the 500 points coupon wouldn't go through either,so that got put through manually and I got the normal points too.
Second shop I got 2x FCUK weekend kits (mens), reduced to £6 each, don't know how much they had been, but I thought they looked really good for £6. 2 x Amazon Forest passion flower hand and nail cream, don't know how much that had started off at, but it was reduced to £1.50, when it got scanned at the till, it came out at 99p each, also got 2 x packs of strawberry Strepsils throat sweets reduced to 90p each. Spent £15.78, got a £5 voucher back, and used a double point coupon so got 120 points. It was the second time I had used the points coupon, so should have been kept, but when I used it the other day, they didn't mark it, so I got given it back to use again:T .

I did look for the hand saviour, but couldn't find it. I was going to go for the saviour, illuminator and GWP, but will have to try that another day, wanted to try it with a 250 points coupon.

Just took the top off the passion flower hand cream.....it smells lush enough to eat!!

I specifically bought men's No7 cos I had read that the 250 points would go through with that but it was refused. I was told this was because you couldn't use it in conjunction with any other offer and the GWP was an offer:D

I do like them (not as much as my daughter who enjoyed chewing the plastic!). It was very good of you to recommend these as I'm loathe to spend 'real money' on make-up accessories as I don't wear it very often. A bargain indeed. Thank you. :A
