I've got a slightly off topic question..

Does anyone know if Morrisons will be doing a 'Super unleaded' type fuel?

My local petrol station is Morrisons but can't use it as they only sell 95Ron Unleaded :(
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

i work for morrisons and i dont have a definete answer ur question, but do know that over the next few months all morrisons petrol forecourts will be getting a new makeover, A) to put in a couple of pumps that you can pay directly at, like you can at asda, and B) as part of new regulation that is coming in, regarding fumes needing to go into the ground, rather than into the air like they do currently, so maybe in this refurbishment they may start doing super unleaded, but dont quote me on that, Hth Dave.

There's a store finder on their site if you're planning a trip somewhere. Not sure if Morrisons produce an official hardcopy but I have a list of all morrisons stations in my van that a fuel card company gave me.
Also tesco do a free store finder booklet.

And if you're lazy you can download store locations to your sat chav

My husband tried to get his card swiped but the attendant totally ignored him! He repeatedly asked him to swipe it and he just kept ignoring him. He spent almost 70 quid and is livid. Don't know why the guy didn't want to swipe his card. Has this happened to anyone else?

Complain. Call the store manager and explain what happened, and ask if he'd be willing to put the points onto the card. No? Then call Head Office on 0845 611 6111 and ask the same thing.

Be polite, but firm, and I'd suggest that you should get the points credited "as a gesture of goodwill".

Does anyone know what happens if you get to the 4995 points mark but don't collect your voucher?
I used the pay @ pump and didn't realise til afterwards that I had reached the 4995 points I needed to collect my voucher.
Does your card reset back to zero automatically?

You should get it next time you go in to pay. I always have.
  • Am I the only one that found the Morrisons advert for their Miles card a bit misleading?

It says something like "Free £5 shopping voucher when you collect Morrisons Miles".

I read that as saying they gave you a £5 bonus when you got the card, and I just had a confused conversation with the person at the petrol station who explained to me that you get a 'free voucher' only when you've collected the points.

But there's just something about the way it's phrased that made me think that they were offering you a £5 sign-up. I know it doesn't exactly say that either, but I think it is first the use of the word 'free'. I think 'free' means you don't have to spend anything - whereas you clearly do have to spend something here, even though you don't have to 'buy' the £5 voucher itself (what kind of deal would that be, though?!)

It is also the fact that they say free £5 voucher - as if it is a one-off voucher. But in fact, once you've got your card you'd keep on earning £5 vouchers as long as you keep spending. So why put it in the singular, rather than saying 'Free £5 voucherS"??

Am I the only one to think they are being a bit misleading here?
