Morrisons Miles

Meh, I tried to fill up at the local Morrisson yesterday, but it's closed for the week. I usually go there because you get free air if you spend more than £15 (with the prices these days, even a scooter can get free air!).
But but bt, although I've been using the card for some years, I still don't know how many points you get, and what you get for how many points. Anyone can help? I remember getting £5 off once, but I have no idea how many points were required.0 -

Currently you need 5000 points for a £5 voucher, and each litre gives you 15 points making that 15 points worth 1.5p.
However I could have sworn when I started the Morrissons miles around April last year it was 10 points per litre, because I remember at the time thinking that 10 points = 1p and each litre was then less than £1 maybe 93p so for every 93p spent you got 1p back. And I remember thinking that it was a slightly better offer that Tesco clubcard who give you 1point worth 1p on each £1 you spend.
But as it is 15 points now that's 1.5p per litre it means the deal is far better value that Tesco clubcard.
And ofcourse for this month (February) only it is 30 points per litre or 3pence which is very good.0 -

The other day I was awarded 930 points, I had 1416, but my total only went to 2300, not 2346 as it should.
I'm going to keep an eye on the till as that's the second time I've noticed a discrepancy in the totals.
But, I need to be a bit more scientific as I can't be 100% ceretain yet it isn't my eyes/memory playing tricks...
It also take me absolutely ages to get a voucher even though I fill up £40 a week, must be 3 months at least between vouchers.
Again, I'm starting to keep a record...
I also suspected them losing some points, When I started back in April '07 I could have sworn the reciepts did not tell you
"previous balance"
"points this transaction"
"new total"
So I started asking for a balance to be given before I paid for the petrol so I could see if the new total was correct. However my most recent Morrisons reciepts from last month and last Sunday (I don't go there very often as they are not my nearest) do show
previous points,
points awarded,
new total.
So maybe they have introduced this because customers complained in the last yearabout lack of information on the reciepts.

Sorry to be pedantic but it's actually 4995 points for a £5 voucher
I like using morrisons over tesco, so always try and go there if possible0 -
Morrisons are 2p per litre more expensive than ASDA where I am, plus I get a further 2p off a litre at ASDA with their ASDA credit card (only got it for the fuel, paid off in full each month :money: ).
If you do collect Morrisons miles points, remember that you only get points per whole litre, so make sure you're ultra-pedantic and round up to the nearest full litre, not the nearest £1.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I got petrol from Morrisons about 10 days ago and it was 99.9p. On Sunday it was 100.9p. I only manage to get it when i'm out of town, but it's 4-5p cheaper than where I live.0

15 points per litre, 5000 (ish) for £5 voucher. Thanks guys!
I wonder why all these rewards programs don't just give you say 1 point per litre, and voucher at say 350 points, duh.
Like others, I'm also wondering about points expiring. It took me ages to get £5. At least I felt I required more than 333 litres .0 -
Do morrissons only offer points when you fill up petrol with them or can I get points when I shop inside their store too?? Also, what can the £5 vouchers be spent on??
