    Morning all

Welcome NSN and Dithering Dormouse I hope you get some benefit out of this thread, I sure have.

Hex I'm glad somebody got my joke

Reflexology update, I feel no different from normal today, I was achey when I got up but that was all. I did sleep well, but little one did not wake up so may have done so anyway. My wee is greener than usual though - sorry TMI for some of you.

Been to DS2 football. Just about to pop to the farm shop to get a couple of sacks of spuds - not all for me. Then party for DS3 this afternoon, DS1 has a golf lesson and then we need to go to JL to look at the cricket bats in the sale.

No time for flying then. Will get boys to strip their beds whilst I am out and just putting the washing on the line before I go.

    Morning all (just)

Three loads of washing done and hung outside to blow. I've done washing every day, how can I have three loads today? There are only three of us living here.

    Vacuumed through downstairs.

"Reminded" DH to do some painting in the bathroom. We painted the tiles a few years ago. The worst thing we ever did. He had to go over some spots where the paint had come off. Again.

Next we've got to search out DS's walking poles, rucksack etc that he's coming to fetch next weekend. Hope they're not too well hidden.

Welcome Dithering Dormouse this is a great thread for support in finding and reclaiming your house. The key is baby steps and not playing catch up, everything comes round on a weekly basis. Some people post their lists and cross things off as they do them others just post what they have done. Man bashing and child ranting are accepted forms of sport on here ;)

    Hello

This is my first ever post. I've been getting the e-mail for at least 3 years and registered a few months ago but never had the nerve to actually say anything! (Hence the username!).

The reason I've finally decided to join in is that I've had the last week off for half term with every intention of clearing up my pigsty of a house to find that I've got to the end of the week and it still isn't any better. for example I've done a load of e]washing every day (sometimes 3 or 4 loads) and I still haven't got to the top of the washing basket.

The thinking is if I sign up for this then I might actually do something. i know I've come in on the trail end of this week's list, so I'll do some things on the weekend list and start in earnest on Monday.

Sorry for such a long message, but it's really getting me down.

    Hello and welcome..

The new list will be posted tomorrow evening.. (sneaky head start.. kitchen on Monday!! ;) don't tell this lot they are always trying to cheat!!)

I have 2 washbaskets and both are spewing laundry over the kictehn and that's before I even attempt to go looking for any more!! I have school uniforms to wash as a priority and 2 duvets and wet bedding to do too.. love it I do!!

Now you're here you have to stay unti your house shines.. or we come looking for you lol!!

    Morning to everyone

Not long back from swimming lessons for A, she was dissapointed not to get another badge today as most of the others got one. She needs to practise her dives and underwater swimming, she'll get there soon.

B*gger all flying done here, meeting went well yesterday but gave me a whole load more things to think about! My mind seems to be on the go non stop even in the middle of the night. It's like the last 20 months has been gearing up for the next couple of weeks.

Just having a :coffee: if anyone wants to join me. Then I had better make sure all the socks are paired ready for school on Monday.

oh yes.. :coffee: on the go.. yes please!!!!!

Well you don't need to be flying.. and remember we are here if you need to offload.. we might hate/dislike/loathe our men in varying degrees some days but most days wouldn't ever want to be in your shoes.. meant with utter respect for you and your difficult circumstances.

the next couple of months will fly by.. and hopefully you will be able to rebuild and it will be one more thing over with and will hopefully give you some closure on this one aspect, it must have been looming over you for all this time like a menacing shadow.. can't have been good.

((((((((hugs))))))))) for you and A and W... I'm sure she'll get her badge next time..

    Afternoon all

Firstly - does anyone know how to get black permanent marker of a white blouse. Typical first time I have worn this one and got blooming marker pen on it. Am at work at mo so unable to soak it or anything till later.

    Weekend list..
    1. Extra 30 minutes ironing..
    2. Change any bedding you didn't get chance to do over the week!
    3. [STRIKE]Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list...[/STRIKE]
    4. spend at least an hour with your family...
    5. Work yourself to level 3 in your messiest room!!
    6. [STRIKE]Try to catch up on the laundry!!!!!!!! [/STRIKE]
    7. [STRIKE]Bake something delicious for the family.. or just for yourself! [/STRIKE]coffee cake and iced cream buns made yesterday pm:D
    8. Make sure you have everything ready for school/work for next week.
    9. [STRIKE]
    10. Fill a binbag of things to get rid of.. charity/bin etc[/STRIKE]
Not too bad but as stuck at work till 4pm not much else to get done. Have asked DH to do tea so not sure what I will end up with, I have visions of a romantic meal for two but I expect rolls and packet of crisps maybe what I end up with:rotfl: .

Welcome newbies. My tip is do the HHC (half hour challenges) it is amazing how much you can get done in them. Then come back on here and write what you got done so we can all pat you on the back:D .

Right best get back to entering these boring old files on the database - like who cares how much we sold a house for 10 years ago and who to:confused: .

But I really do need to be flying, you should see the state of this place :o

    Right lunch first

If I've let the kitchen/sitting room/hallway mess run away from me and not done my hotspots etc. and need motivation, I grab my phone and take pictures of each surface, clear it away and take another photo! I don't know why this works, but I think it gets me out of the 'I'm only doing it for it to mess up again, so don't bother' mentality because my before and after photos give concrete witness to the fact that ye, I have actually achieved something. My family think I'm completely barmy, esp when i text the photos to my husband when he's working away - but hey, it works for me.
