This is so good to get other opinions, the gold I have tested will wash as it's so shiny/metallic it' s almost a gloss. Mudbath is your friends a one step metallic paint or a paint effect thingy with a glaze top coat, to make it look metallic?

GalantVr4 my friend used an interior paint made by Craig & Rose the second time, unsure what she used the first time. http://www.craigandrose.com/brands/opulence/detail?colour=PUREGOLD&type=946METWALL she got it in B&Q (Dragonville one), wasn't cheap but looked brilliant!

Evening folks.
I'm hitting the weekend still walking, which was more than i thought i would be i can tell you. I've not achieved that much this week, but the house is still standing, and then thanks to DH we have eaten well all week.
shell thanks for worrying about me. I have had a few dizzy spells this week due to overheating and bending over too far. No-one at work was really that sympathetic. A few of my colleagues have very little to do at the moment as the student teachers have the majority of their lessons - one has just 3 lessons a week, the other has 5. One said, oh- i could pop in if you go funny again so you can sit down for 5 minutes. I am just going to keep putting one foot in front of the other - 19 days to go. (3 weeks, 4 days to Easter hols)
TMD - happy birthday to you.
anw's mum sending you hugs and some strength to help you through the inquest.
i have had an amusing evening catching up on ORF and seeing what you have all been up to this week.
Exciting weekend planned here, as we are off for my 4D scan tomorrow morning. I want something to pep me up a bit, and i think that should do the trick.
Plan for tomorrow morning:- wash hair
- pack DS bag
- drop DS off at sisters house
- get petrol in my car
- drive to next town for my scan
- one hour of the scan - hopefully a very enjoyable experience. Best not forget the credit card though.
- drive back - pick up DS
- come home, do some school stuff and do some DIY stuff in the big bedroom.
Staying away from here has meant i got a bit more done this week at school, but unfortunately time at work has been a bit frittered due to interuptions, and the fact that the 2 who have such light workloads are sat around not doing a lot. Need to charge up my MP3 player for next week i think.
Anyway, going to leave now, as i want to hang up the wash load i stuck on this morning before work, and i need to be up really to get my hair washed and stuff, so night folks, and i hope to be around over the weekend.

Lil_me thanks thats just the type I'm looking for, don't think they have it in our local Consett Focus DIY-but the staff there are soooo miserable I'd rather drive out of my way to a B&Q anyway, so think I'll have a ride out to find Dragonville after dance lessons in the morn, thanks so muchWW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0

I've been there, someone said they had a good offer on Christmas stuff, they are really as much use as a chocolate fireguard! I don't know if that paint will be cheaper online, but it's sometimes easier to be able to buy it in a store if you don't know how much you will need especially. Then of course is the delivery charge on top.
Rolls are lovely and soft, I've written in permenant ink 'rolls towel' on the tea towel in the hope it won't end up in the garage (bought a one just for that) however they're still like pancakes, no matter how much of a ball I roll them in my rolls end up flat. I think this calls for a post! One day I might be more organised...........

hi nickysnackynooo or nsn as you shall hereafter be known LOL
Yes it gets easier, after a few weeks every where will take a lot less time to clean and you won;lt need to do all the level 1 and 2 tasks every week necessarily. As the basics take less time you can then add in a level 3 or extra mission as you see for. Definitely don't try and achieve itall all the time or you will crack up!!! Its not my kids that I get cross at as they are only little and dont know any better, but I do go through phases of feeling really annoyed at hubby for making a mess. At the minute I am trying to look at it from the point of view that I want it tidy therefore I have to be prepared to put in a bit more effort than him. He isnt that bothered, I think he would hate it if it was a total mess but he doesnt mind a bit of a clutter whereas I cannot stand clutter and constantly put things away. I've also found that making sure everything has a "home" makes it much easier to tidy clutter away as I go along. After 6 years living in the house and 4 kids later its tidier than ever, everything has a home and its fairly easy to get on top of, for axample, the weekend's devastation.
Good luck!
