Dusty - I think that's why quite a few of my client's prefer to offload during a treatment. I always give the option to stay quiet, and a few do, but on the whole people do talk. See how you feel in the morning...a lot of people call feeling worse the healing reaction but usually people feel relaxed but uplifted after a treatment...of course that could be down to my stunning company and wit!!!!

Is reflexology any good for treating depression? I'm weaning myself off the anti-d's as I don't really like being on them. Trouble is I'm now feeling as bad as I did before I went on them! I want to find something to help which isn't a chemical cosh.

    Hello Everyone

I've been lurking here since Monday and thought it was about time I said Hi.

I have been trying really hard this first week, and getting to Level 2 most days, but what I wanted to ask was-

    does it get any easier?

    and

does the feeling of wanting to shout at your kids for untidying the slightest thing pass????

Hello... not in my house.. and no..

Next weeks list will be up tomorrow evening so watch out Piggy's about.

    Bunny question........

Is it mean to keep Lila on her own now Barney has gone??.. Will she be happy without anyone ears to pick in or shall I buy her a bunny buddy??????

She appears to be doing a lotof boredom activities.. tube chewing, digging etc.

Titch is away to dance class and Tiddles is asking if she can go... URGH.. more expense!!

Hubby is boarding out the back loft today so the middle room swag canbe hidden up there.. most of it is going though.. I got rid of about half last year now I think the other half needs to go. I'll keep the happyland, the duplo and a few bits but the rest really isn't needed.. Why do we have 3 garages??? Noone even plays with cars!!!!!!

Still slobbing around in my dressing gown but need to to get dressed really sharpish as loads to do and a trip into town first. Just me and DD today so hope she is going to help when we get back as will lose half a day tomorrow as have to go into work!

    Welcome to nickysnackynooo
I found it does get easier as time goes on because the jobs take less time. Take the oven, the first time it was  but now I wipe it over each week after using it on Sunday for the roast. As for shouting at the kids :rotfl: glad it wasnt just me, but I found by letting them have control over their rooms (and yes they are usually a tip) then I could control the rest of the house.

Gotta go so hugs :grouphug: and hellos :hello: to everyone else

Will post my to do list when I get back

  • Hello

This is my first ever post. I've been getting the e-mail for at least 3 years and registered a few months ago but never had the nerve to actually say anything! (Hence the username!).

The reason I've finally decided to join in is that I've had the last week off for half term with every intention of clearing up my pigsty of a house to find that I've got to the end of the week and it still isn't any better. for example I've done a load of e]washing every day (sometimes 3 or 4 loads) and I still haven't got to the top of the washing basket.

The thinking is if I sign up for this then I might actually do something. i know I've come in on the trail end of this week's list, so I'll do some things on the weekend list and start in earnest on Monday.

Sorry for such a long message, but it's really getting me down.

Welcome Dithering Dormouse, don't get down just join in where you can. Next week's lists will start being posted on a new thread tomorrow evening some time and each day's new jobs will be posted the evening before.

If you feel like making a start now you can just pick stuff from the lists on the first post of this thread.

Welcome Dithering Dormouse (love the name!:D)

This is my first week on Flylady. I've often looked at the list and thought "that looks too much like hard work" but it hasn't really been that bad. Usually I do very little housework because all I can think of is how much there is to do, which makes me feel depressed so I end up doing nothing! Try for level one first and see how you go.
