Gunsandbanjos - that reminds me of when mine were little. They only liked peas. So I gave them yellow peas - sweetcorn, knobbly peas - broccoli, white knobbly peas - cauliflower, long peas - beans and orange peas - carrots. Worked every time! I'm so mean.

Dusty - you were right when you said I needed to be patient. Right now I have four starlings, a robin, mr and mrs blackbird, two wood pidgeons and a blue tit. I haven't been this calm in years - it's great therapy just watching them. I'm off too look up moorhen's feet in my book!

Just scoffing rice krispie cakes we made yesterday with a coffee and then me and DD2 are off swimming.

WM finished and needs putting in TD but will do when we get back and then put next load in - I hate washing and ironing:mad: .

Best go get the swim bag ready, will pop a couple of bananas in for after (or should I nick DH mars bars - he he he).

    :T love it!!!

Last time I made spag bol ds asked if there were mushrooms in it this time, deep breath in because I am not entirely sure how he will take my reply... yes there are, to which he replied "GREAT, I LOVE mushrooms!" I was a wee bit taken aback at this. So I put mushrooms in the batch I made the other day - explained it was spag bol for supper and the mushroom question came up this time he hates mushrooms  and garllic bread  on the other hand dd1 loves anything - as long as it is homemade :rotfl: and is [STRIKE]brainwashing[/STRIKE] telling her little sis that homemade is best :T (at least one of them is on side!)

The nipples and noses are what give it flavour:rotfl:

  • my DS is not fussy when he has dinner at playschool but he can be a right pain when he eats at home although he does love his veg and adores brocolli :D

DD will eat more or less anything but when i find something that DS likes she doesn't eat it.

I can't really complain because he does try it, which I am pleased about.
