You have made me feel so much better!! Had a v busy day at work and then the gingerkids have been a tad fractious since we all got back from school. To make things worse, DH is away overnight for work (up in the frozen north east!). Still - having caught up with the thread, my children are little angels compared to Mudbath's child from hell!!
OK - plans for tonight are: bath time for kids x3, cook something for me for supper, clean bathroom and office and then settle down to watch Hotel Babylon whilst doing the ironing! When ironing finished - read school reports for Reception classes looking for typos and/or children changing gender mid way through where teachers have used cut and paste from other children's reports! (Last year DS apparently played well with all her friends!!!).
Wish me luck! (and if you see me later with a glass of wine in my hand TELL ME OFF!)

Right, that's my half hour done. What have I done. Actually, it's amazing what you can do in half an hour when you set your mind to it. I now need to go and sort out the kitchen - it seems there's not a surface left. Then peel the spuds to cook for mashing to go with the yummy smelling chicken casserole that's been in the slow cooker all day. But, before I do that, let me see what I need to do flying wise tomorrow on my next post

Twinkling Tuesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level One
[STRIKE]Clean floors in these room[/STRIKE]s The PC area is the bedroom and it's not a bedroom day!!!!! But I did the bathroom floor
[STRIKE]Air the room.. fling open the windows and let in the springy air!! I don't care if it is 13' below!! lol[/STRIKE] It was flipping cold whilst the bathroom window was open! But, it spurred me on to work faster :D
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks[/STRIKE] It's SOOO much easier to keep clean when you do it regularly!
[STRIKE]Clear any clutter from desk [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc whatever needs cleaning.[/STRIKE] Bathroom mats are in the washing machine as I type. The second clean set will go down as soon as the floor is dry.
[STRIKE]Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required[/STRIKE] Shower curtain in washing machine with bath mats and spurious towels left lying around. Spare shower curtain up and on hangers
[STRIKE]Collect any stray laundry from upstairs[/STRIKE] Don't have an upstairs! :D.
    Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Wipe down the doors and frames in these rooms.
    • [STRIKE]Clean the radiators in these rooms[/STRIKE]
    • Wash the windows in these rooms.. and [STRIKE]shine the mirrors[/STRIKE]
    • HHI... a bit more gone!

Emptied waste bins and put in new liners.

    To Do

[strike] Collect Child Benefit from Post Office[/strike]
[strike] Buy new multi journey bus ticket from PO for DH[/strike]
[strike] Buy a wooden coat hanger from the charity shop so I can make a new peg bag from an old pillowcase.[/strike]
[strike] Buy a couple more cereal bowls from Wilkinsons[/strike]
Put away clean clothes from yesterday's wash. Sorted and on my bed atm but needs distributing.
List all food in freezer and cupboards
Try and do a meal plan from lists.
[strike] Sew in name label in DD1's new school trousers.[/strike]
Sew on badges on DS's cubs uniform - he was enrolled the week before half term and needs it done before tomorrow!

Some biggies still to be done I see! The lady at the charity shop gave me the coathanger for nothing, then I noticed a Sodastream for £3 complete with two bottles and two full gas bottles, so I bought it!
