Dissertation motivation!

Hey Everyone...

I'm kinda tagging on here but am also at dissertation time! I wondered how many words everyone's has to be and how many references your thinking of putting in??

I think mine could be seen as pretty easy, 7000-8000 words but still not done much reading yet and 4 other essays to do! Still not long now til finishing..:D

any one know about the company that does offers on transcribing? or how much the equipment costs to do it digitally.....just some info would be great

Starting draft 2 of my dissertation after easter now, and then onto my revision so I will soon be a regular back in this thread again! *Sigh*

Hi guys, hope it's all going well for everyone! Congratulations to Sali_Mali for med school offer - that's fantastic

I've just updated my DFW post, have really let the moneysaving side of things slide because of my dissertation but am determined to do both!

I've finished my methods section (3300 words) and am now working on my introduction (currently 3800, needs to be 10,000). All my data is uploaded onto the database, and I'm meeting with my supervisor this week to discuss the analysis.

It seems to be going okay, just wish I could write faster, and better, and save money, lose 5 pounds, run a marathon....you get the idea idea.

*Deep breath*

Lol....don't mind me, I get a bit weird when I've been studying for too long

well done, Meena...you've been working so hard! Must be such a relief to get the methods done.

Meena..Uni has suggested we write our intro first, before doing anything...seems very odd, as, although i've written a fair bit of my intro now, i'm sure i'll change it loads, once i write my methods bit.
So i intend to begin to tackle my data (have collected about 50%, but still more to get) and put on SPSS, then begin to analyse, as i think this will make writing the intorduction a bit easier. It's been such a struggle!

Do you have any (more!) tips??
