What reason does the council give for not allowing you the full amount? I imagine it is to do with your rent being too high for your area?

Have just checked the entitledto.co.uk calculator as the above didn't seem right.
entitledto gives an entitlement of approx £10 per week, which tallies with your LA's calculation.
TBH £223.24 per week is quite a decent income, giving an annual income of £11608.48.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Im 42 & Partner Is 41.no,no Savings:( .0

I am assuming that you wife also claims IB, and you both get the Age Addition?
If so, the figure does seem correct. Sorry xGone ... or have I?0 -
I'm sorry to hear that you have had such a bad time HarlieBarlie, and I'm glad that you have found a supportive partner x
With regard to the HB, I do think that the LA's calculation is correct. If you still have the award letter that details their exact calculation, then feel free to post the figures used, but if they are the same as above, then it is correct.
If you need to ask anything else, feel free ... and welcome to MSE xGone ... or have I?0 -
