hiya everyone,
i know this sounds a silly question but what do you have in your fridge?
my oh is complaining that theres never anything in the fridge and i really dont know what he means! he doesnt eat snacks like pork pies / pasties, doesnt eat much dairy like yoghurts, no milk, he`s not keen on sliced meats for sandwhiches,
most of our meals are from scratch, i bake very often,
in our fridge we have eggs, butter, milk (for me) cheese spreads, block cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms, peppers, his beers,
bagged salad,
and no he woudnt do the shopping, easier for me to do it anyway, ive been asking him all day today what he wants and he doesnt know
so what do you have in your fridge? please give me some ideas!!
thank you in advance claire.0 -

Well I would be wanting to know exactly what oh is expecting to find in there! Is he making his own meals and looking for ingredients or is he just looking for snacks. If its snacks well I really try to discourage this in our house, mainly because it costs a fortune! Maybe if he has got a big appetite you could look on here for some ideas for cheap, healthish snacks that you could make yourself.
My sister always seems to have loads of food in her fridge, it always looks really interesting. I think she shops nearly every day so keeps a lot of fresh stuff in. I tend to freeze everything and only take things out of the freezer when I need them.
My fridge would normally contain: cooked meat for sandwiches, spread, cheese, yoghurts, baking margarine, milk, salad and veg, some fruit, pickles and chutneys and maybe some fruit juice and some bacon. Thats about it.
Interesting thread though, looking forward to hearing what other people have in their fridges!0 -
