im wanting to know whats he is expecting to find in there too! lol honestly driving me mad!

Claire I could have written that post myself! My OH is exactly the same always complaining that there's nothing for him to eat in the house however when I ask him to provide me with a list of things he'd like me to get he can't!! Very occasionally (about three times a year) he throws a huff and insists we go shopping so he can choose some stuff but inevitably by aisle 2 he's bored and totally overwhelmed and ends up n the beer aisle!! What a brat:rotfl:
My fridge content is much the same as everyone elses and I know what it is he'd like, snack meats, biltong, pork pies and things like that but it's not happening, we can't afford for him to have pre-packaged meat for snacks. Plus I like to keep an eye on his heart!
Instead i've learnt to keep a box of fruit and fibre or strawberry crunch cereal in the cupboard for him, packet noodles (spicy ones), I try and keep something like a HM quiche in the fridge that people can help themselves to, plus i'll make him a spicy tom yum noodle soup with any left over cooked meat scraps/chicken carcass we might have. As an emergency there is always a tin of tuna should he be wasting away!!

Milk, some filo pastry, about a dozen different jars of pickle, chutney, mustard etc. two tubs of yoghurt sun cream! (just in case), eye mask thing, bottle of wine, bottle of salad dressing
I have cheese etc in the freezer, no left overs atm.
DH likes me to keep ''manly eatables'' about, but we disagree over this. e.g. he likes bombay mix.....but half a small packet at a time then nothing for weeks, by which time even in a clip lock box its gone soft. Mine loves things like scotch eggs and pork pies. I have aslo found cold sausages make a good snack for him.0 -

I relaise I don't keep a lot in the fridge that some do: I have eggs in a cupboard, today I need to buy veg, but I keep most of that out of the fridge too (apart from ''crisper stuff'' ). My butter is in a butter dish in the cupboard. (replacement butter in the freezer)0
