Havent got one, but it is easiest to daiy chain the boxes using scart leads.

Feed the Sky+ TV out into the DVD input and the DVD output (TV) into the tv. That should get you started and to be able record from what you are watching or archive from the recordings stored on the Sky+.

Otherwise read up your TV instructions as to what the different scarts on the TV will allow. Treat the DVD recorder the same as you would use a VHS tape recorder, the only difference is the media it records on.

Looks like the price has gone back up to the original one. You might be lucky and the in-store price will still be £39.99, but I wouldn't count on it. Sorry.

Johnna, the O.P was made on 14th Feb so it's probably gone back up to the old price again (I got all excited until I checked!!)

It does not seem your timer problem is the same as mine(or at least I'm not prepared to wait 30 mins to find out). However I have found out the cause. Whenever I set the timer and choose 'once' for the number of recordings it fails to start. If I set it to daily or weekly it starts bang on time! It's a slight workaround but one that is ok for me as it does not take too long to do. Why it happens is anone's guess.
I still can't figure out the ghosting teletext problem though.

Sorry for the late response Thor, had forgotten about the posting.

I shall get my husband to have a go with that tonight (just not when Prison Break is on!).

Do any of these things allow you to hit pause while recording manually and un-pause to delete adverts while watching a show, does anyoine know?
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)
