PAYG O2 user not happy
As the title says, I have been with o2 for a number of years and I would like to go onto contract because I am using my mobile a lot more now than I used to but the best deals seem to be for existing contract owners but nothing for us PAYG customers. I have rang these people up I have been into their shop but nothing has been put on the table to temp me. Have any of you got any suggestions or is this a waste of time.
Many thanks in advance.
John

im on 02 payg and the best deal i have got (never speaking to 02 just working it out on my own)
On TalkalotMore Tariff + (best friends bolt on)
So i top up £30 a month and get:
£25 calling credit
300 "free" texts
300 "free" off peak "anyone" minutes
1/2 price calls + texts to my favourite 3 numbers (changeable when top up etc)
+ every 3 months i get 10% of my top ups back.
This works out great for me as ive cut my monthly top ups from approx £80-£100 to just the £30! :j :j :j
With the talkalotmore tarriff you can also only top up £15 instead of the £30 but you only get 150 "free" off peak "anyone" minutes. Depends on your usuage which one suits you better though i suppose .

johanne, Thanks for the quick reply but I use my phone at peak times mostly and I don't want to pay £30 a month.
But again thankyou for your suggestion

You could try the other version of the o2 Online PAYG talkalot tariff which includes 100 any network, any time minutes coupled with the talkalotmore tariff. This would give you
£15 calling credit
100 anytime anyone minutes
150 off peak anyone minutes.
They also offer a bolt on for anytime anyone minutes priced at £7.99 for 50 minutes which could replace some of that £15 calling credit or supplement it.0 -

As soul sister has said let us know how much you want to spend per month, how many mins you are likely to use, any text messages?? When are you likely to make your calls, Do you want an up to date phone or will anyone do?

One of the recent free sims offers from O2 included £10 topup a month for 100 minutes free calls or 100 texts. This is on PAYG so you're not tied in to a contract. I've given all my free ones away now. Maybe someone else has one they could let you have.
I was tempted today by one of O2s offers. £23.50 PAYG a month for 500 minutes anytime calls. Also every 3 months you get back 10%. This seems not a bad deal for PAYG.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
