living in halls was hell - I hated every second of it.. we both refused to live in fallowfield cos it's a student hell hole..

I don't want to go partying and get drunk. I have 2 part time jobs, I do web design, run a music webzine (go to lots of gigs) and I'm now doing the new student direct website..

So I have enough to do and I love it - I'd hate to go out and get drunk ro something.

I've been with my husband for over 17 years now and we met when we were both 19. I was a student at the time and several years ago he went back to college and spent four years getting a degree - we also have 3 children! We've had some tough times and have both changed loads over the years but you can change and still stay together!

Just wanted to post to say good luck to both of you, no matter what your decision on getting married. It's a shame that changes in grants etc since I was a student in the late '80's mean that you even have to consider this option but £6000 is a lot of money when you're a student.
