There's a 1000mb per gb. So you're using a total of nearly 1/3rd of a gb each month. However most providers are more concerned with your download figure than upload.

Depends on how your ISP defines "GB" which is an inherently unofficial unit.

As for GiB it's upload 0.294 GiB, downloads 0.022 GiB

You just divide by 1024. Depending on your ISP's definition "GB" will either be the same as those figures or 0.316 "GB" for upload and 0.024 "GB" (if they use the prefixes in a decimal instead of binary manner).

    Hi
YouTube videos don't seem to be much over 20MB and an mp3 track is probably around 5MB. But these things vary so keep your eye on that meter.:D:D
PS Your figures are weird, you've only downloaded 22MB but you've uploaded 300MB?

Oh, and we didn't even start on the confusion between a gigabyte (GB) and gigabit (Gb) - Usually your usage cap is in GB and the speed is quoted as Mb - a byte is 8 bits, so when your ISP sells you 'up to 8 Mb broadband' that's 2 MB, and when you actually get the broadband, and it turns out to only be 4Mb, or 1MB.
    Confused?!

Didn't even get on to Nibbles (4 bits) either. :D

I was going to comment on that. Very odd, 23 MiB in itself seems quite low for a month usage on broadband but the disparity with upload quantity seems strange. Unless it's something specific (online backup) I'd maybe want to scan my system just in case.

It's none of our business, but why have you uploaded 300MB of data?

Are you sure that your figures aren't the wrong way round - I mean downloaded 300MB and uploaded 22MB instead.
