Today I received my stamps for the month in my normal brown envelope with items to post for the week - also included was a thank-you letter (2 in fact!!) and some special "Royal Mail Mint Stamps", a presentation pack of James Bond stamps which look pretty funky I have to say. Not sure what to do with them, I'm not the stamp collecting sort.... but seems a shame to use them! Maybe i'll save em for special cards. Anyone else get these?

Mine arrived today. Quick search of completed listings on eBay suggests average sale value of £4.68 excluding shipping, if that's any help. Although, there are also quite a few that didn't sell. Stamps increase in value, don't they? I know they aren't penny blacks but maybe worth hanging on to for a few years? Or is that pointless when they'll probably only go up by a few pence! Any philatelists out there? :)

Ive just rang up regarding that, as i have the same/similar one.

They told me that what is written on the envelope is correct and nothing should be added.

Many thanks, i thought so, just seemed a bit odd - i will never know if it arrives at destination anyway!

I've been getting golf magazine's ..... for months now. I assumed that they'd come as junk mail due to comps that I enter. Then upon closer inspection I realized that one mag was worth £3.95  There were notes in it about my subscription .... I emailed them thinking that I'd probably subscribed by mistake  told them I wanted to cancel as I have no interest in golf. Then last week (I've been doing this for 5 months now), when I enterd something without an R number, it suddenly dawned on me that this junk mail that I was getting was all to do with this! I emailed and confessed as I didn't want post wo/man to get in to trouble. Just telling you in case anyone else makes that mistake :o They were very nice about it though :D

I wish they'd slow down in sending me my weeks postings. I now have the next three weeks stuff sat around and its getting complicated and messy. Why can't they just send the next weeks stuff out at the end of the week. I'm more likely to lose something or get something wrong with all this paper everywhere.

Thats weird, I only get mine a week or so ahead at most - and only get one brown pack per week usually. Three weeks worth sounds a lot to cope with at a time!

Didn't they have your test initials on? Thats how I tell my test items apart from my crappy junk mail - not that I've had any magazines and stuff yet, just the R-number test items from other panellists.

The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
